A recently released propaganda video by Hamas has sparked renewed outrage and urgency in the ongoing efforts to secure the release of Israeli hostages that still remain in Hamas captivity in Gaza. The footage, which surfaced on Saturday, depicts brothers Yair and Eitan Horn embracing in what appears to be a Hamas underground tunnel, just before Yair’s release a few weeks ago. VIN News reported that the Horn family has allowed the video to be shared with the public, highlighting the painful separation of families and the dire conditions of those still being held hostage.

The VIN News report detailed how in the video, Eitan expresses his distress over being left behind while his brother is set to return to Israel. “I am very happy to see that my brother is being released, but this is not logical, in any way, to separate families,” he stated, pleading for the release of all hostages. The emotional exchange between the brothers calls attention to the cruel psychological warfare that Hamas continues to engage in, using captives as leverage to manipulate public sentiment and pressure the Israeli government. The Horn family has issued an urgent plea to Israel’s leadership, urging them to complete the agreement that has already facilitated the return of several hostages, according to the information provided in the VIN News report. “We demand from those making the decisions to look Eitan in the eyes. Don’t stop the agreement that has already brought dozens of abductees back to us,” the family stated.
