Elon Musk Blasts Soros, Hoffman, and ActBlue for Funding Destructive Tesla Protests, Claims Violence Tied to Left-Wing Agenda

By Jared Evan

(TJV) Elon Musk has accused prominent left-wing billionaires, including George Soros and Reid Hoffman, of bankrolling a series of protests and vandalism targeting his electric car company, Tesla. The protests, which have occurred nationwide at dealerships and charging stations, have led to substantial damage to Tesla vehicles, though the link between the protests and the vandalism remains unclear. In a fiery post on his social media platform X on Sunday morning, Musk made explosive claims about the involvement of five ActBlue-funded groups in the protests.
“An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla ‘protests’: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, and Democratic Socialists of America,” Musk wrote, pulling no punches in laying the blame squarely at the feet of these organizations.
The tech mogul went even further, naming Soros, Hoffman, and other Democratic mega-donors as being involved in funding the protests, claiming they were directly responsible for funding the disruptive actions. Musk’s allegations didn’t stop there. He added that ActBlue, the Democratic fundraising platform, is currently under investigation for accepting illegal foreign donations and violating campaign finance laws. Musk also pointed to the resignation of seven senior officials from ActBlue this week, including its associate general counsel.

Fox News Digital reached out to a spokesperson for Reid Hoffman, the billionaire LinkedIn co-founder named by Musk. The spokesperson vehemently denied the allegations, calling Musk’s claims “wildly false.”
“This is just one more of Elon’s wildly false claims about me,” the statement read. “I have never funded any organization or individual for demonstrations at Tesla, or any actions at charging stations or on vehicles. I don’t condone violence. But I’m not surprised that everyday Americans are angry about what Elon is doing. Unlike on Twitter, his actions and statements in the real world have real consequences.”
Despite Hoffman’s denial, the protests have intensified, and Tesla’s facilities have become targets for vandals across the country. Some have even damaged Tesla cars and charging stations, including a shooting incident at a Tesla dealership in Oregon. On Thursday, gunshots were fired at the dealership, damaging multiple vehicles and shattering windows, according to Fox News Digital sources.
In addition to gun violence, the situation has escalated with reports of Molotov cocktails being thrown at a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon, and several charging stations set on fire in Massachusetts. Even more concerning, a man was arrested after allegedly tagging Tesla vehicles with Musk decals and posting the footage on X. Just last week, authorities in Colorado charged a man who was allegedly planning a violent attack on a Tesla dealership with explosives.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., who appeared on Fox News, expressed concern over the rising rhetoric surrounding Musk. She accused some lawmakers of using hostile language against Musk to boost their own polling numbers.
“People have said that they know that Elon Musk, hitting him, attacking him, is actually good for their polling numbers,” Rep. Luna stated. “So, they’re going to continue to do it.”
Musk’s clash with left-wing groups has been compounded by his involvement with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which seeks to eliminate wasteful spending in the federal government.
As Musk continues to fend off what he claims are orchestrated attacks, the rhetoric against him from Democratic circles seems to be escalating, leaving many to question how far these protests will go.
