MSNBC, the low-rated, far-left propaganda mouthpiece of the Democrat Party, continues its downward spiral into irrelevance after NBC Universal agreed to settle a federal defamation lawsuit. The suit, filed by Georgia gynecologist Dr. Mahendra Amin, challenged the network’s 2020 coverage of false allegations claiming he performed mass hysterectomies on female detainees at an ICE facility.

U.S. District Judge Lisa Godbey Wood ruled in June that “the undisputed evidence establishes that multiple NBC statements are false,” confirming there were no mass hysterectomies and discrediting MSNBC’s reporting, which aired on shows hosted by far-left activists Nicolle Wallace, Chris Hayes, and Rachel Maddow.

Despite pushing baseless accusations from a progressive-backed whistleblower complaint, MSNBC failed to shield itself under journalistic protections. The judge made it clear that the network’s false reporting was not excused simply because they were relaying the claims of others. The resulting smear campaign led to death threats against Dr. Amin, professional damage, and personal distress.

The settlement, first reported by The Washington Post, is yet another example of leftist media corporations choosing to quietly pay up rather than face accountability in court. The case follows a trend of media giants settling defamation lawsuits, including recent payouts by Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, and social media companies.

As MSNBC’s credibility continues to erode, this latest defamation scandal further cements its reputation as a partisan attack machine rather than a legitimate news outlet.
