Fate of Bibas Family Recalls Trauma of Oct. 7

Dear Editor:

The civilized world is in tears. Argentina will hold a day of mourning for Kiri and Ariel Bibas. The babies, aged 9 months and 4 years old, when they were kidnapped, along with their parents, Shiri and Yarden, from Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7, 2023, have been murdered.

The Palestinian savages who perpetrated this war crime, along with their collaborators in Gaza, the PA, the UN, the ICC, the ICJ, the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, the Islamist NGOs and the mobs rioting through our streets and campuses have blood on their hands. Thet are not to be forgiven.

The ravaged bodies of Kiri and Ariel were released to Israel on Feb. 20, along with that of 84-year-old journalist and peace activist, Oded Lifshitz. An unidentified 4th person, cynically claimed to be Shiri, the babies’ mother, was also released. Shiri’s fate is still unknown.

It is time to end the Palestinian hoax and the terror it entails. There is no Palestine. Palestinianism was an invention of the Soviet KGB in 1964. The KGB created the Palestine Liberation Organization as a tool to diminish American influence in the Middle East. Their modus operandi was terrorism to popularize their ideas and to destroy Israel. They recruited fighters from throughout MENA and called them ‘Palestinians’.

Israel’s attempt to accommodate the Palestinians by allowing 100,000 PLO followers into Israel, following the Oslo accords and, later, by turning Gaza over to the PA, were massive errors. Israel paid dearly for these miscalculations.

The goal of Palestinianism remains the destruction of Israel and its replacement with a Caliphate. Israel is the ‘Little Satan’. America is the ‘Great Satan’.

Israel has learned its lesson. Did the rest of us get the message?

Applauds Elon Musk & DOGE

To the Editor:

Phantom Social Security numbers, government waste and federal employees not doing their jobs should be of concern to all Americans. Yet, when these same issues happen to be exposed by Elon Musk, the left and their media enablers blames the messenger: “collusion, interference, invasion of privacy!”, they say. Yet, despite what one might think of DOGE, Musk’s unveiling of massive government corruption and waste, will lead to less spending by and more accountability of our government.

The waste and corruption Biden’s White House engaged in–which would be criminal if someone in the private sector engaged in such acts, should not be left to stand. I don’t care if Musk is cozying up to Trump or his cryptocurrency has access to government data. I care about the message: Our government should be: “Do Only Good Every Day.”

Trump Soars During First Month in Office

Dear Editor:

In the first month of President Donald Trump’s second term, we have witnessed a series of decisive actions that illustrate his unwavering commitment to combating corruption, reducing governmental waste, and prioritizing American interests both domestically and abroad.

President Trump has taken bold steps to streamline the federal government, exemplified by the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency under the leadership of Elon Musk. This initiative has led to the termination of over 10,000 federal employees, a move aimed at eliminating redundancy and enhancing operational efficiency. While some critics express concern over the rapid pace of these changes, it’s evident that the administration is resolute in its mission to eradicate bureaucratic bloat and ensure that taxpayer dollars are utilized effectively. As President Trump stated, “We have a very corrupt country… and it’s a sad thing to say, but we’re figuring it out.”

President Trump’s steadfast support for Israel has been a cornerstone of his foreign policy. In response to the ongoing conflict with Hamas, he has not only defended Israel’s right to self-defense but has also taken proactive measures to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. His administration’s plan to rebuild and resettle the Gaza Strip seeks to remove the influence of Hamas and foster an environment conducive to peace and prosperity. This vision recognizes the need for a comprehensive solution that benefits both Israelis and Palestinians, and it challenges the international community to move beyond rhetoric and take tangible actions toward lasting peace.

The President has also demonstrated a pragmatic approach to international conflicts, particularly in seeking an end to the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. By engaging directly with Russian officials, President Trump has signaled a willingness to explore diplomatic avenues that prioritize the cessation of violence and the restoration of stability in the region. While some allies have expressed reservations about this approach, it’s clear that the administration is committed to pursuing peace through dialogue and negotiation, recognizing that prolonged conflict serves the interests of neither party involved.

In a demonstration of decisive leadership, President Trump has signed 73 executive orders within his first month in office, surpassing the activity of his predecessors. These orders encompass a wide range of policies, from challenging birthright citizenship to restructuring federal agencies, all aligned with his ‘America First’ agenda. This ambitious approach reflects a commitment to swiftly implementing the policies that resonated with voters and addressing issues that have long plagued the nation.

President Trump’s initial month in office has been marked by a series of assertive actions aimed at reforming government operations, supporting key international allies, and pursuing peace through strength. While these measures have sparked debate, they undeniably reflect a dedication to fulfilling campaign promises and prioritizing the well-being of the American people.

The Plight of Eric Adams

Dear Editor:

In September 2024, Mayor Adams was indicted on federal charges, including bribery and fraud, related to allegations of accepting benefits from Turkish nationals in exchange for official favors. Notably, these charges emerged shortly after Mayor Adams publicly criticized the Biden administration for its inadequate support in managing the influx of migrants into New York City. This timing raises questions about whether the indictment was a retaliatory act aimed at silencing a prominent critic. As Mayor Adams himself contended, the charges were “entirely false, based on lies,” and he vowed to fight them vigorously.

In a significant development, the Department of Justice, under the current administration, directed federal prosecutors to dismiss the charges against Mayor Adams. Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove stated that the prosecution had “unduly restricted Mayor Adams’ ability to devote full attention and resources to the illegal immigration and violent crime” and “improperly interfered with Mayor Adams’ campaign in the [November] 2025 mayoral election.” This decision speaks to the importance of ensuring that legal actions are free from political bias and that elected officials can perform their duties without undue interference.

The sequence of events surrounding Mayor Adams’ indictment and the subsequent dismissal of charges highlight the perilous intersection of justice and politics. It is imperative that our legal system remains impartial, ensuring that actions against public officials are based solely on evidence and the pursuit of justice, rather than political vendettas. While accountability is essential, it must not be wielded as a tool for political retribution.

Sincerely
