Jurors in the Daniel Penny trial for last year’s subway choking death of Jordan Neely said on Dec. 6 that they are struggling to reach a unanimous verdict on the main charge of manslaughter.
“At this time, we are unable to come to a unanimous vote on Count One, manslaughter in the second degree,” the jurors said in a note to the judge.

The judge said, “I think at this point, even if that’s the case, I still have to decide that a unanimous agreement is impossible on Count One before they can render a verdict on Count Two.”
The jury began deliberating on Dec. 3, after the prosecution and defense had made their closing arguments.

  1. Daniel Penny did NOT murder Neely. Neely was threatening to kill others, especially a mother and her child. Daniel jumped into action to save and protect others from that madman. This case was only brought forward because a mob of Black and White Leftist activists who were calling for Daniel’s head! It’s sickening that every time a Black criminal is rightfully killed, the Left goes berserk! Shame!

  2. What mom and child was Neely — a powerless and muffin eating Michael Jackson impersonator— trying to harm?
