IDF Claims Major Victory Over Hezbollah: 3,800 Operatives Neutralized and 80% of Rocket Capabilities Destroyed
Edited by: Fern Sidman
One month after the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has provided a comprehensive summary of their military achievements in the northern arena. According to reports from Abu Ali Express and military correspondent Doron Kadosh, the IDF claims to have neutralized approximately 3,800 Hezbollah operatives and destroyed 80% of the group’s firing capabilities, marking a significant blow to the organization’s operational strength.
As detailed by Abu Ali Express, one of the most significant outcomes of the war was the neutralization of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force—an elite unit specifically trained and tasked with carrying out a ground assault into Israeli territory.
The IDF reported that the Radwan Unit has been left effectively leaderless, with its command structure shattered and its offensive capabilities nullified. Of the 3,800 Hezbollah operatives neutralized, 700 belonged to the Radwan Force, while over 1,000 additional operatives were wounded, rendering the majority of this unit combat-ineffective.
According to the information provided by Abu Ali Express, this represents a major strategic achievement for Israel, as the Radwan Force had been a core element of Hezbollah’s long-term plan to launch a large-scale invasion into Israel’s Galilee region.
In addition to targeting Hezbollah’s ground forces, Abu Ali Express reported that the IDF conducted an extensive campaign to destroy Hezbollah’s rocket-launching capabilities.

The IDF estimates that approximately 80% of Hezbollah’s total rocket arsenal was neutralized during the conflict, breaking down as follows:
75% of short-range launchers were taken out of commission.
70% of strategic weaponry, including long-range missiles, precision-guided munitions, anti-ship missiles, and cruise missiles, were destroyed.
This extensive degradation means that Hezbollah’s capacity to launch coordinated rocket barrages on Israel’s home front has been virtually eradicated, a point emphasized by Abu Ali Express.
According to Abu Ali Express and correspondent Doron Kadosh, among the thousands of Hezbollah operatives neutralized were 14 senior Hezbollah leaders, including figures close to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
This leadership vacuum further complicates Hezbollah’s ability to reorganize and effectively command its remaining forces, presenting an operational and strategic setback for the organization in the near term.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect last month, the IDF has remained vigilant, continuing limited operations in Lebanon and closely monitoring Hezbollah’s activities. According to Abu Ali Express, the IDF has:
Neutralized 44 Hezbollah operatives in targeted strikes.
Conducted 25 precision airstrikes on Hezbollah assets in Lebanon.
Recorded 47 ceasefire violations by Hezbollah operatives.
These violations included border infiltrations, sporadic rocket fire, and attempts to re-establish forward operational positions. The repeated breaches highlight Hezbollah’s unwillingness to fully adhere to the ceasefire terms, despite the IDF’s continued deterrence posture.

The conflict has significantly reshaped the balance of power on Israel’s northern border. As reported by Abu Ali Express, the IDF believes it has effectively eliminated Hezbollah’s capacity to launch a sustained ground assault on Israel, while also degrading its ability to conduct large-scale rocket attacks.
Furthermore, the loss of key leaders, the dismantling of the Radwan Force, and the widespread destruction of rocket infrastructure have left Hezbollah in a weakened and vulnerable state.
However, military analysts cited by Abu Ali Express caution that Hezbollah remains a persistent threat due to its ability to quickly adapt and its history of rebuilding capabilities. The coming months will likely see intensified diplomatic and intelligence efforts aimed at preventing Hezbollah from rearming and reorganizing.
According to the information provided in the Abu Ali Express report, the IDF is preparing for a prolonged period of relative calm, but remains alert to potential flare-ups or provocations from Hezbollah. Israel’s military leadership is also focusing on strengthening defensive infrastructure along the northern border and enhancing intelligence capabilities to preempt future threats.
IDF commanders emphasized, as reported by Abu Ali Express, that the results of the war reflect a strategic victory but acknowledged that the northern front will remain a volatile and complex security challenge for the foreseeable future.
The war in Lebanon has come at a high cost for both sides, but the IDF’s operational successes—as reported by Abu Ali Express and Doron Kadosh—call attention to a significant achievement in neutralizing Hezbollah’s offensive capabilities and degrading its military infrastructure.

The elimination of 3,800 operatives, the crippling of the Radwan Force, and the destruction of 80% of Hezbollah’s rocket arsenal mark a turning point in Israel’s ongoing conflict with the Iranian-backed militant group.
As the Abu Ali Express report indicates, while the northern border remains fraught with uncertainty, the IDF’s achievements have bought Israel crucial time and strategic space to prepare for future contingencies.
