Say “No” to Replacing Carbon Fueled Vehicles

Dear Editor:

With the explosion of natural disasters in our Southeastern states, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, we have to examine the reality and feasibility of replacing our current fleets of carbon based vehicles, especially emergency ones, with those powered by electricity (EV’s). Could you imagine, during or after a violent hurricane, earthquake or other major occurrence to have such EV’s respond to scenes where electricity would be shut off for days, even weeks? How would they continue to function without being recharged?

Our current source of power for most on the road vehicles is gasoline, which is plentiful, safe and easily stored for future use. Rescuers, during emergencies, can travel far and wide, carrying with them fuel for countless miles. Rather EV vehicles have to be near sources of electricity which are rarely available during emergency operations.

In short, let’s be realistic and put off replacing carbon fueled vehicles until the time when electricity is available in portable form.

Sincerely,
Carl Siegel

A Disappointing JNet Saga

Dear Editor:

Several weeks ago, I was in the supermarket. I was confronted by a religious looking woman asking if I needed Shabbos candles. I asked her if maybe she could help me. I asked her, “Is there a website where I can learn Hebrew and the Aleph Bais?” I told her I needed to refresh my limited knowledge of the Aleph Bais as I wanted to get a good grasp of Hebrew so I could pray at synagogue. She was very accommodating and gave me a surf card and another card that listed JNET. She instructed me on how to reach them.

I did as she explained. It was days until I received an actual response beside the automated one. JNET was searching for someone to fit my needs. Again, weeks went by. I received another email asking if I was still interested. Again, more weeks went by asking again if I was interested, and because of the holidays, it was difficult. They told me that they are still searching for an instructor, but if I want to pay, it would speed up the process.

So, all in all, I was like an idiot being pushed off to the side, and JNET is nothing more than false advertising. I am no longer interested and totally disappointed.

So JNET, thanks for nothing.

Sincerely,
Laura

UN “Peacekeepers” Are Useless

Dear Editor:

An Associated Press report published widely on many news websites on October 30 stated that “Israel is unlikely to trust U.N. peacekeepers and Lebanese troops to keep Hezbollah out of a reestablished buffer zone in [southern] Lebanon.”

The AP did not explain why it is that Israel does not trust them. The answer is that Israel has trusted them repeatedly in the past, and they betrayed that trust each and every time.

Again and again since the 1970s, Israel has withdrawn from southern Lebanon under U.S. pressure. Again and again, UN “peacekeepers” and the Lebanese army promised to keep the terrorists out. And again and again, they failed to keep that promise. The reason that Hezbollah has 150,000 rockets in southern Lebanon is because the UN “peacekeepers” there refused to do anything about it. Why should anybody think that things will be different this time around?

Racism Drives Campaign to Destroy JNF

Dear Editor:

Please consider publishing the following letter that I sent to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Dear PM Trudeau,

Radical Islam is pledged to destroy the State of Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Egypt in 1928 by Hassan al-Banna, is a pan-Islamic movement whose goal is to replace the West with a Caliphate. The Brotherhood sees Israel as the “Little Satan” and America as the Great Satan”.

Why is the Canadian government targeting the JNF? Does it accept the libel regarding supposed injustices done to the Arabs we have called “Palestinians” since the KGB and Egypt created the PLO in 1964. Prior to then, only Jews were called Palestinians. Arabs referred to themselves as Arabs or Egyptians or Syrians, etc.

The Liberal Party is supposed to care about the environment and preserving the earth.

Why have they allowed radical Islamists to infringe on the right of Canadians to plant trees in the swamps and deserts of Israel. How is it the government is trying to take away the charitable status of the most successful ecological organization in the world?

Israel is the only country that left the twentieth century with more trees than one hundred years before.

How are we not applauding this unique achievement?

I am left with the impression that racism is at the core of the campaign to destroy the Jewish National Fund.

As a Canadian, I am disgusted.

Sincerely

Education Reform Must Be a Priority

Dear Editor:

To survive and thrive as the leader of the Free World and the pinnacle of Western Civilization, the next American President must lead a revolution to dramatically reform the nation’s elementary schools and institutions of higher education. For nearly 100 years, European-based Communist parties have sought to undermine our schools. The pace of foreign penetration accelerated in 1962 when the Warren Supreme Court outlawed school prayers under the pretext of separation of Church and State.

When G-d was removed from our schools, our enemies’ Godless false narratives increased their penetration. The Communists (Red), Islamists (Green), and Globalists (Blue) ideologists quickly began to indoctrinate our children with false narratives. Their targets have been public schools, which serve 85% of the students in America. These un-American ideologies also penetrated our teaching colleges and universities on both the teacher’s and administrator’s levels. Moreover, nearly 70% of our schoolbooks are produced by foreign publishers like Pearson in the UK. This company is minority-owned by the Muslim Brotherhood-supporting Sovereign Fund of Libya, allowing Islamist ideology to be reflected in their books. As a result, we are suffering from numerous ideological absurdities.

Sincerely
