“Never Again’ is becoming an increasing distant cliché with conviction waning across the political spectrum and social fabric to remain steadfast against the rise of anti-Semitism and a concerted genocidal effort to exterminate the Jewish state. Israel is being hemmed in on all sides of its fragile borders by Iran’s terrorist proxies while the once-staunch supportive Western democracies of Israel are becoming more and more complicit in placating to a growing domestic Arab population and orchestrated anti-Semitic demonstrations shifting the political arena.

Western leaders and NATO are calling for a de-escalation and a ceasefire. US President Joe Biden is pressuring Israel to refrain from a significant strike on Iran following a barrage of 180 Iranian ballistic missiles out of fear of a greater regional conflict. Mr. President, “That horse left the barn on October 7th”.
Meanwhile, French president Emmanuel Macron called for an end to arms supplies to Israel as the Jewish state fights for its existence against Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis -all with a direct pipeline of weapons and rockets from Iran to rain down on Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was spot on to call out Macron’s actions as a double standard and shameful. Macron’s call for Western countries to impose an arms embargo essentially removes ‘Never’ from ‘Again’ and would find Israel cornered with little choice but to nuke their way out. Macron’s shortsighted strategy would result in far more deaths across the region and expand the conflict beyond the Middle East.
The people of Lebanon are waking up. Early signs of an uprising against Hezbollah, inspired by Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of the free world, are emerging. Now is the time for the world to stand with us and support our fight for freedom pic.twitter.com/8PYPZl39io

There are two ways this year-long war could end, and it is clear that it can only end one way. A ceasefire would take place if Hamas terrorists surrendered and release the hostages. Wishful thinking as a deluge of ballistic missiles and rockets showers down on Israel or the most recent address by Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calling the deadly Oct. 7 terror attack in Israel a “legitimate” act — as he warned the Jewish state “won’t last long” under Iranian bombardment. There is simply no interest in a negotiated peace with an evil regime that embeds terrorists among the Palestinians and Lebanese and use them as cannon fodder.

It has never been more transparent that the efforts in the West pressuring Israel into a one-way ceasefire will only provide a window for Iran to resupply armaments to pursue another cycle of generational hatred that increasingly tightens the noose on all fronts surrounding the Jewish State. A two-state solution with the Palestinians is not possible as long as terrorists hold Gaza and Lebanon hostage to fall in line with exterminating the Jewish people from their ancestral homeland.
The only alternative solution to a lasting ceasefire and de-escalation is escalation. There is a historical roadmap that both the United States and France can implement with relative ease compared to the current diplomatic errors of judgement by the leaders in the West. It will take real leadership on a level to that of Winston Churchill, Harry Truman, and Ronald Reagan that will be revered in the annals of world history.

Just as the world came together to eliminate Nazi Germany, the Imperialist Japanese, the collapse of the Soviet Union, and more recently former Donald Trump’s leadership to eliminate ISIS as a major threat, another “D-Day-like’ concerted and well executed military plan is required to finally liberate Lebanon, Israel, and the Palestinian people from the axis of evil terrorists in the region. War with the belligerents is the path to a lasting peace. War with the belligerents is the path to a rapid expansion of the Abraham Accords.

This can be accomplished the easy way with a surrender by Hamas and Hezbollah enslaving innocent people in their homelands or the hard way through direct military action. There must also be a clear message and determination to engage Iran directly through crippling sanctions and going to war if necessary to ensure the regime never again becomes a threat to Israel and the world’s exporter of terrorism. Iran has a choice to fall in line, refrain from sowing hatred toward Israel, and relinquish their nuclear weapons aspirations.
The task at hand for an American-led invasion to cleanse Lebanon and the Palestinian territories is relatively straightforward with an overwhelming force compared to what the allies faced during WWII. The West’s preparation and build-up alone will most likely create fear and a retreat similar to when the allied forces gathered to remove Iraq from Kuwait during the Persian Gulf War. The relatively small size of Lebanon and Gaza will permit the forces to seal their borders from any attempt to resupply weapons to counter military operations. As for Israel, their military operations will stand down in a defensive position.
Do we want a temporary ceasefire that results in tens of thousands of more innocent deaths in future wars and acts of terrorism or truly a lasting peace? Do we want to liberate the Palestinians and Lebanon where they have an opportunity for a peaceful and prosperous future? Do we want to ensure Israel’s right to a sliver of land they can call home? Will the next American president step up and lead the way?
