(TJV) NBC’s Saturday Night Live ridiculed Kamala Harris as a pandering buffoon in the second episode of its 50th season with just a few weeks to go until Election Day.
SNL’s cold open began with Maya Rudolph as Vice President Kamala Harris leading Andy Samberg as Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff and Dana Carvey as Joe Biden for an election edition of “Family Feud” against Donald Trump, played by James Austin Johnson.
“It’s been a hell of a week,” she said. “I went on Howard Stern to reach the horny cab drivers, I went on ‘The View’ for the horny moms, and I also went on the podcast ‘Call Her Daddy’ because I have a message for young women: You need to go to the ballot box if you want the government out of your ballot box.”
Johnson’s Trump quipped that Harris is “going to be horrible at this game. She’s a very low IQ person. The whole world is laughing at her because they don’t respect her.”
Kenan Thompson as Steve Harvey asked the candidates to name something they keep in a glove compartment. Rudolph buzzed in and began telling a story about being raised in a middle-class family by her mother, a line Harris uses frequently on the campaign trail.
When pressed by Thompson on the glove compartment question, Rudolph’s Harris said she keeps a “big ‘ole Glock.”
Kamala’s recent media blitz has failed to help her polling which shows Trump in a slight lead in most swing states.
