Kamala Harris Flops Spectacularly During 60 Minutes Interview, Exposes Her Clueless Economic Agenda
(TJV) Kamala Harris faced a major reality check during her recent interview on 60 Minutes, where she completely crumbled when asked to explain her economic policies. Expecting a soft-ball conversation, Harris sat down with host Bill Whitaker to discuss her presidential campaign and policy goals—many of which are still unclear to the American public. But instead of offering clarity, she launched into a rambling, incoherent monologue about the Middle East, just as tensions in the region escalate.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Harris tried to tout her administration’s “advocacy” in the Middle East, delivering a bizarre statement: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen,” she stammered. The vague answer left viewers scratching their heads.
But the real trainwreck came when the topic turned to the economy. Whitaker, refusing to play along, pressed Harris on her lofty, socialist-sounding promises. Her response? A rambling word salad about “investing” in the middle class and small businesses. Whitaker cut her off, demanding specifics.
Harris floundered yet again, claiming that the “evil” rich would somehow foot the bill, but failed to explain how she would push her agenda through Congress. Clearly understanding how government actually works, Whitaker reminded her to come back to reality and explain how she planned to get her pie-in-the-sky proposals through a divided Congress.
Predictably, Harris stuck to her robotic script, repeating empty campaign slogans as if she had forgotten how laws are actually made. It was a disastrous performance that highlighted her lack of substance and understanding of her own proposals.
HARRIS: My plan is about saying that when you invest in small business, you invest in the middle class, and you strengthen America’s economy. Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy.
WHITAKER: Pardon me, Madam Vice President. The question was, how are you going to pay for it?
HARRIS: Well, one of the things, I’m gonna make sure that the richest among us, who can afford it, pay their fair share of taxes. It is not right that teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations, and I plan on making that fair.
WHITAKER: But we are dealing with the real world here.
HARRIS: But the real world includes…
WHITAKER: How are you going to get this through Congress?
HARRIS: You know, when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I’m talking about because their constituents know exactly what I’m talking about. Their constituents are those firefighters and teachers and nurses.
