Has Biden Really Been Leading the Country?

Leadership requires clear guidelines from a higher power; if a leader lacks such skills, his organization will fumble and eventually cease to exist. Organizations and countries are sizable bodies that can only function when the proper leadership is provided; countries are unique in that the decisions of the leaders don’t solely affect a limited group, as their choices have ripple effects across the landscape of the country.

In a democratic-oriented government, the people in some form, choose their leaders, ranging from the local mayor to the national president or prime minister; each person’s vote might be insignificant, but a collection of the populace’s choices has a tremendous effect. In such a society, people have a right to vote as the leaders they elect are given superior power over their fellow countrymen, thus, if citizens are misinformed about candidates running for political office, the consequences can be grave.

Alexis de Tocqueville, a French nobleman in the 1800s, observed that the media serves as the people’s check on the power of government; governments might internally have checks and balances, but genuine accountability can only be achieved with the inclusion of the governed. Thus, the role of the media isn’t solely to get clicks on viral articles and videos, it is to record anything that public officials do and say that could affect their constituents.

Leaders therefore have an incentive to do the right thing, as a strong press dedicated to rooting out government corruption and flawed policies will hold officials fully accountable. Journalists are not robots in that everything they report can be fully objective, as they have their biases as any other person does, but the attempt to be fair is vital for the continuance of a democratic government that works for the people.

In the 2020 election in the United States, President Donald Trump was running for a 2nd term; baseless hatred from the opposition was thrown his way, but a crucial part of the protection of liberty is diversity of political thought, even expressed in baseless hatred. However, this hatred that President Trump’s opponents had, permeated into the media-industrial complex which has every right to be biased, but to outright lie and cover up for one political party is gravely dangerous and immoral.

The “Trump Derangement Syndrome’’-filled media pined for the days of “the adults back in the room”; any presidential opponent of Trump would have the full backing of the media and its resources, as long as it was devoted to its main goal: get rid of Trump and his “racist” movement. The press set out on their mission to elect the Democrat nominee, at all costs. Joseph Robinette Biden won the nomination; the moment he won, he was inaugurated by the media to rid the country of Trump.

Throughout the campaign, Joe, 77 at the time, was notably less sharp than in his prime days in politics; the gaffes of Biden were a staple of his political career, but the added intensity made them noteworthy. The President of the US is not some random position which doesn’t have much power or responsibilities, it has at times, the world on its shoulders. The policies of the President have not only major implications for his citizens, but also for foreign wars, entanglements, and beyond throughout the globe.

The President has to be someone who has the energy and vigor to be able to take on the responsibilities of millions of people’s lives. But for the media in 2020 and since, the fact that Joe Biden wasn’t Donald Trump was enough of a qualification to be president; the fact that he forgot basic vocabulary during speeches or the fact that he forgot where he was, were not concerns. Instead, when people pointed out what they saw with their eyes and ears, media pundits labeled their observations as “right-wing disinformation and misinformation”, “Russian propaganda” and “undemocratic malarkey”.

For years, we were told that Joe Biden is not only healthy, but he is the most healthy and fit person on planet Earth to have ever lived! During his presidency, his mental and physical health has clearly deteriorated, but the accepted media narrative has been “Joe Biden is our savior, anyone that disagrees is a right-wing, Russian plant!” That was until June 27th, 2024 at 9 PM.

That night, Trump accepted a debate offer from Biden. The offer, however, had a caveat, that Biden would only debate if he made all the rules; from muted microphones, to no live audience, to even it being hosted by liberal CNN commentators, it was an offer only a mentally ill Democrat could fail at. Trump took the offer, and that night, he argued the case against the disastrous Biden presidency eloquently.

Biden throughout the debate was entranced in a daze, at times looking dead and sick, while sounding as if he would kneel and croak right there. To those who have been using their eyes and ears for some time, the debate was a classic Biden speech; but to those fact-denying liberals who blindly accepted Biden, it was an eye-awakening moment. Now, these same fools want to dump Biden for someone alive and able to speak; the “democracy” crusaders want to replace and dump the “elected” president of the US, weeks before the official Democrat convention.

The primary is over, voters have voted, and they overwhelmingly voted for Biden! While this mess ensues, the domestic problems of the country continue to pile from inflation, infrastructure, taxes, culture wars, immigration, and other top issues that affect everyday Americans, but the media 4 years ago, were fine with a President Joe Biden, therefore why shouldn’t they get to feel the consequences of their lies to the American people now! Why should they have the right to bail themselves out, after hopping on the “Biden train”?!

Democrats and their allies have in truth, no moral high ground on choosing a nominee this late in the game after voters chose their guy. The question that needs an answer now, is who is running the country because it isn’t Joe Biden. Is Jill Biden running things behind the scenes? Republicans in Congress instead of writing pointless strongly-worded letters, must take action against the incompetent fool that some call “Mr. President.”
