On a sunny Sunday afternoon in August 2020, throngs of Trump supporters gathered for a successful fundraiser at the Jersey Shore home of the late Stanley Chera. The event was not just a political gathering, but a poignant tribute to Chera, a close friend of Donald Trump and a prominent figure in the Sephardic Jewish communities of Brooklyn, New York, and Deal, New Jersey. Chera passed away in April 2020 at the age of 77 due to the devastating effects of the coronavirus.

Located in the Elberon section of Long Branch on the Jersey Shore, the Chera residence was replete with supporters and friends who came to honor the memory of Stanley Chera. Chera, known for his significant contributions to the real estate world in New York City, was more than a business associate to Trump; he was a cherished friend. This close bond was evident in Trump’s heartfelt remarks during a White House press briefing with his coronavirus task force. Reflecting on Chera’s hospitalization, Trump conveyed the swift and brutal nature of the virus: “He’s a little older, and he’s heavy, but he’s a tough person. And he went to the hospital, and a day later, he’s in a coma. I call: ‘How’s he doing?’ ‘Sir, he’s in a coma. He’s unconscious.’ He’s not doing well. The speed and the viciousness, especially if it gets the right person, it’s horrible. It’s really horrible.”

Trump spoke movingly of Chera, describing him as someone who was like a “young boy” in his excitement about Trump’s presidency and his strong support for the administration’s policy agenda. This deep friendship, which spanned many decades, was visibly significant to Trump, who often praised Chera’s success and loyalty.

Chera had been a key supporter of Trump’s political journey, hosting a fundraiser at his residence during Trump’s initial run for the presidency in 2016. Additionally, Chera organized a Veterans Day event in November 2019, where Trump addressed the nation in New York City. These events underscored Chera’s dedication to his friend and his unwavering support for Trump’s vision for America.

Haim Chera, one of Stanley Chera’s three adult sons, spoke at the fundraiser, expressing his gratitude to Trump for his continued support and concern during his father’s battle with the coronavirus. Haim noted how Trump, despite being heavily occupied with leading the nation through the pandemic, took the time to inquire about Chera’s condition and to support the family during their time of grief. This gesture of kindness resonated deeply with the Chera family and illustrated the profound personal connection between Trump and Chera.

The fundraiser at the Chera home was more than a political event; it was a tribute to a remarkable friendship and the legacy of a man who had a significant impact on those around him. Stanley Chera’s passing was a reminder of the harsh realities of the coronavirus pandemic, but the gathering also highlighted the enduring bonds of friendship and support that transcend the challenges of any crisis.

As Trump continues his political journey, the memory of Stanley Chera and the support of the Chera family remain a testament to the lasting relationships and personal connections that define his life beyond the public eye. The event at the Jersey Shore was a powerful reminder of the human stories behind the headlines and the importance of honoring those who have touched our lives in meaningful ways.

Now, in the summer of 2024 and in the midst of a tumultuous presidential election season, former President Trump is returning once again to the Jersey Shore home of the Chera family on Sunday, July 28th for what is expected to be a spectacular and exceptionally vibrant fundraiser.

This year’s reception is also being hosted by the Chera family, Joe Cayre as well as Andrea and Steve Wynn. The co-hosts for the highly anticipated event are Harry Adjmi, Ben Ashkenazy, Amb Linda and John Blanchard, John Catsimatidis, Seryl & Charles Kushner, Abe Spira, Chairwoman Elise Stefanik, Steve Witkoff and the Honorable Lee Zeldin.

In the days following the conclusion of the highly successful Republican National Convention in Milwaukee that commenced only two days after an attempted assassination on the life of the GOP presidential nominee, Donald Trump, the campaign received an extra boost with the naming of JD Vance as President Trump’s running mate.

Since that time, the Secret Service has come under intensive scrutiny for their clear lack of protection for the naton’s 45th president as he addressed a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.  This past Sunday evening, the nation received the announcement that President Biden had been under pressure from his own party to bow out of the presidential race and to hand the mantle of leadership to the radically left wing Vice President, Kamala Harris.

On Wednesday afternoon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an impassioned address before the Joint Sessions of Congress. The media noted that neither President Biden or Vice President Harris bothered to show up or to accord any kind of welcome to the leader of America’s most loyal ally. Moreover, Netanyahu was met with boycotts of his address from a substantial number of Democratic members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate. This is a stark reminder that Israel no longer enjoys bi-partisan support in Congress and that the nefarious agenda of the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic forces amongst some of our elected officials are gaining significant momentum.

Indeed, we are living in frightening times.

Now, more than ever, our country finds itself siege by a sinister group of dark money, left wing billionaires who pull the strings behind the very dangerous  “progressive, woke” mob who have been in the forefront of violent demonstrations against Israel.

The only way to curtail this onslaught of those who threaten the democratic principles that our country is predicated on is through ensuring that President Trump get re-elected in the most consequential presidential race of our lifetime on November 5.

Join others who wish to protect our democracy and to those who wish to preserve the rights granted us  in our constitution by standing up for President Trump. The contribution to attend President’s address is $3300 and the contribution for VIP seating is $10,000. An RSVP is required and those interested in attending can send their RSVP e-mail to: [email protected].

Now, more than ever, lift your voice and join the growing choir of supporters for the re-election of President Trump.
