Reality Escapes Progressive Jews

Dear Editor:

It’s typical of Progressive American Jews to close their eyes and minds to reality as they continue to follow the Democrat breadcrumb trail that leads to the sharp suicidal Masada-like cliff from which they’ll willingly walk off. Nothing helps to un-hypnotize them from the crap they ingest reading the NYT and watching MSNBC. They’ve been doing it since they disembarked at Ellis island and started working as loyal Socialist/Communist labor union members. Nothing has changed even though there are no more Jewish shipping clerks, taxi drivers or garment workers living in the projects. They are now upper middle class but 70% are still thinking like their immigrant forebearers. Political stagnation. Stupidity!

They are committed to a party whose titular leader is the nation’s President, Joe Biden, obviously suffering from cognitive decline, but who is also under the influence and control of his party’s radical congressional element led by The Squad composed of Jew/Israel/America haters such as AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and a coven of other similar thinking black legislators. This relationship obviously bodes no good for all Jews, American or Israeli. So, the big question is, why don’t liberal Jews see the dangers to them and their brethren by continuing their loyalty to the Democrat Party? Why don’t they terminate this relationship? Question…..Would blacks continue to remain loyal to a party that advocates for a return to the days of the KKK, poll taxes or separate water fountains? Not at all? They have more self serving, political intelligence than Jews.

We see our administration’s current stalwart hostility to Israel’s attempts to wipe out Hamas after the October 7th slaughter from Gaza. We see Anthony Blinken’s sympathy, not for the victims but rather for the perpetrators of this mini-Holocaust. We hear of Biden’s proposal to hand over hundreds of millions of American $ to Gaza…oops! to Hamas for rearming and militarizing the area for future Oct. 7th-like slaughters. There is no Biden/Blinken call for Gazan citizens to turn over Hamas terrorists who hide among them who use them to hide among. They only demand is for Israel to stop the “persecution” of innocent Gazans. It’s out there in the open for all to see. America’s leadership is now aligned with the terrorists in Gaza and the Palestinian Occupied West Bank. That’s an undeniable fact!

Sincerely

Propaganda & Terrorism During Ramadan

Dear Editor:

The holy month of Ramadan is a period of reflection, and also a time for propaganda and terrorism.

Zionism emerged in the 1850s. After centuries of persecution under European and Islamic masters, Jews longed for their ancestral homeland. They had a continuous presence in Israel for over 3,000 years and hoped for a safe haven in a corner of the Ottoman Empire where their eternal capital, Jerusalem, had a Jewish majority.

The 1920’s were cataclysmic. The victors of WWI carved up the lands of the vanquished Germans and Turks, creating a number of Middle East mandates. In Egypt, Hussein al-Banna founded the Muslim Brotherhood, spreading radical Islamic nationalism with the goal of replacing the West with a caliphate. In Europe, Nazism was taking hold.

Jews, purchased land from the leading Arab families, built farms and laid the foundations for civil society. Britain named Haj Amin al-Husseini, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, hoping to curry favor with the Effendi, the leading Arab families. It didn’t work.

Husseini and Hitler were allies.

Al-Husseini promoted anti-Semitism and pogroms in the mandate and further afield. He moved to Germany, established Bosnian, Muslim SS units, and personally intervened to send 4,000 Hungarian children to the gas chambers.

Arab propaganda included the “al-Aqsa libel”, the claim that Jews were destroying the mosque so they could build a Third Temple. This was always effective in stirring up the mob.

There was never a Jewish attack against the mosque, but the old trick is used whenever the Palestinian Authority, Hamas or other Islamic radicals want to assert themselves.

This lie has become an integral aspect of Arab culture.

America’s shot at Israel is hostile and superfluous. They should be warning the Palestinians to not stir up hatred.

Anti-Semitism is a Perennial Problem

Dear Editor:

Your March 3 news article about the new ADL poll, showing a huge rise in antisemitism, raises an interesting question.  There are definitely people who have antisemitic feelings but don’t want to admit it to a pollster–meaning that the real percentage of antisemites in the population is even higher than the ADL estimates. We have a lot of Jewish or Zionist organizations raising money on the claim that they’re fighting against antisemitism, whether on campuses or wherever. Well, maybe it’s time to admit that none of these Jewish groups really have the answer, and none of them can defeat antisemitism. So our donations might help pay comfortable salaries to a bunch of Jewish officials, but this is one problem that is beyond solving.

Sincerely,

Hostage Families Should Blame Qatar & Egypt

Dear Editor:

Why do the Israelis who are holding rallies for the hostages use the slogan “Bring Them Home”? It’s not as if the Israeli government is holding them hostage! The implication that there is something the government can do, which it’s not doing, strikes me as ridiculous. The slogan of these rallies should be “Let My People Go,” and the rallies should be held outside the embassies of the countries that could be doing something, like Qatar and Egypt.

Sincerely,

J Street is Despicable!

Dear Editor:

I read that J Street just led a group of Democratic congressmen to visit Israel. Upon their return to the U.S., these congressmen all denounced the Israeli government. It seems as if J Street’s sole purpose is to try to convince Americans to hate Israel. What a despicable group!

Sincerely,
