October 7th has Exposed More than Just Anti-Semitism in the UN, BLM, Me-Too, & Our Schools

The one-sided anti-Semitic narrative and protests depicting Israel as both culpable for the horrific attack on October 7th by the barbaric governing Hamas terrorists and the colonial villain in their response to root out the terrorists embedded in neighborhood communities is not surprising. Shamefully, vile is not rated the same when it is against Jews and against Israel.

Notwithstanding the Hamas charter to eradicate Israel off the map from ‘River to Sea’, it is confounding and contradictory to the espoused humanity prescribed in the United Nations, Black Lives Matter, and the Me-Too Movement that these organizations would either support Hamas, blame Israel for both their self-inflicted carnage and the casualties in Gaza, or obscurely remain silent when Israelis are the victim of heinous violence.

They are, however, very much the same in capitalizing on the victimization of those suffering a terrible loss or tragedy in an effort to rip apart traditional norms, goodness, and liberty for a neo-Marxist society and a competing tyrannical theocracy that subsequently enriches and empowers themselves. They have now formed an alliance with a new partner to the dance, albeit far different values yet similar resolve to overthrow or weaken both America and Israel.

The Pro-Hamas fragment and an indoctrinated loss generation of Covid students have been swept up and assimilated in the contagion of ignorance, anti-Semitism, and rebellion. The factions are willing to leverage each other to isolate Israel and pursue a second holocaust from ‘River to Sea’ and in doing so, create political division and anarchy to degrade America.

The UN’s record against the Jewish state clearly demonstrates a concerted effort that is ripe of bias.  In 2020, the General Assembly adopted 17 resolutions against Israel versus six resolutions singling all other countries. That’s more than 70 percent in the lopsided condemnation to selectively discriminate and politicize the UN charter of equal treatment yet turn a blind eye to raise resolutions against the many belligerent nations with abhorrent human rights violations.

“The UN’s assault on Israel with a torrent of one-sided resolutions is surreal,” said Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch. “The UN’s automatic majority has no interest in truly helping Palestinians, nor in protecting anyone’s human rights; the goal of these ritual, one-sided condemnations are to scapegoat Israel.”

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres insinuated Israel is predisposed to the barbaric atrocity on Oct. 7th when he claimed the Hamas attacks “did not happen in a vacuum’. Past history of the languishing Israeli-Palestinian quagmire can be passionately argued, but it is completely false and horrid for Guterres to link a smidgen of justification of the murder, torture, rape, and kidnapping of innocent civilians.

Adding to the insult, Guterres insisted, “We are witnessing a killing of civilians that is unparalleled and unprecedented in any conflict since I have been Secretary-General.” The Secretary General has a short memory when ignoring the hundreds of thousand killed in Ukraine, Syria, and Yemen during his tenure. He has lost his moral standing to remain in his position.

Where is the Me-Too Movement, outraged female celebrities, progressive politicians, and the women’s rights groups marching and protesting against the savage rape and gender-based carnages inflicted upon Jewish girls and women? The chant, “Believe all Women” has gone silent even though there is documented evidence of girls bent over and passed from one terrorist to another,  broken pelvic bones and bloodied pants during the violent gang rapes, a naked woman paraded through Gaza, a pregnant woman whose body was slashed open, and her fetus stabbed to death, and beheaded, butchered, and burnt babies and children.

There is little to no outcry to the brutalities against Israeli women. However, there is due coverage on the devastating impact of the crisis in Gaza on women and children. Where is the #BringBackOurGirls social media campaign from the music icons, Hollywood royalty, and Michelle Obama that went viral when 276 Nigerian schoolgirls were kidnapped  by terrorists? The women’s rights pugnaciousness must look beyond race or ethnicity.

Following the Hamas attack on innocent Jews, the Black Lives Matter chapter in Chicago, according to a reporting, stated that resistance from Palestine should not be condemned but understood as a desperate act of self-defense. This parrots what many in the BLM movement and some in the DEI community defend when empathizing with the lawless rioting and looting that took place following the death of George Floyd. The Chicago BLM also attempted to walk back a since-deleted inflammatory graphic post apparently referencing a Hamas paraglider with the Palestinian flag infiltrating Israel.

The rise in anti-Semitism and the protests against Israel in America has been metastasizing; and it wasn’t until the Hamas attacks that its ugly head was activated and capitalized through the well-established channels in higher education, climate activists, identity politics, and funding sources both domestic and foreign. The mechanisms inside the woke corporatocracy, progressive politicians, and the education system pulled in new organic growth within the Arab and Muslim community that would have otherwise conflicted with their religious values.

The one-sided news media and the power of social media on young minds is pushing to control and freeze a pro-Palestinian collective consensus, polarize the narrative, and thwart opposing positions. The initial and overwhelming support for the murdered Jewish victims and hostages is now waning as Western governments and the Biden Administration shift towards victims in Gaza and lean on the Israeli government to restrict their efforts to root out the Hamas terrorists.

The shifting narrative now depicts the kindness of Hamas holding the hands of Jewish hostages during their release on an equal and empathic level to the freeing of convicted Palestinian prisoners. The media reports of families reunited, and waving flags and celebrations has been a PR win for Hamas. Israelis have been lulled into the coinciding salutes and should have remained sombre throughout the exchanges.

Domestically, the greatest threat to education and society is the politicalization of our schools. Right out of the Soviet Union’s playbook, the communist youth league incited division against traditional family-orientated farmers unwilling to give up their land to the collective. The villagers, who had little to no previous disdain for the farmers previously, fell to the delusion of class hostilities as they seen the names of the unwilling farmers listed on the village postings. The anti-Israel protests, and student walkouts is disconcertingly akin to the Bolshevik’s insurgency; alongside student chants and placards of ‘River to Sea’ to that of Hitler’s SS elite guard’s anti-Semite propaganda leading to the Jewish Holocaust.

The despicable harassing and circling of Jewish students on campus or the rallying call to riot and hunt down teachers and students who stand with Israel is parallel to Mao’s student-led paramilitary brigades recruiting disenfranchised youth into the covenant that seeks to divide and subjugate non-aligned students. These youth gangs rampaged across China to replace the family structure with the collective that resulted in 55 million inhabitants starving to death.

It is simply wrong to teach students constructed antagonistic categories on race, white privilege, and colonialism whereas openness to historical facts and civil debate is shunned, and worse, being Jewish is shameful. It is a destructive ideology to instil in our youth to be pessimistic, victims, and full of grievance rather than being full of optimism and gratitude.

The hearts and minds of the older generations are becoming less relevant. It’s the kids and the social structures of the next generations becoming fully entrenched in the delusions of progressive thinking that divides society where a Muslim life only counts if a Jew kills them, and a black life matters only if a cop kills them.

To be clear, if America and Israel fall, we will have sentenced the world into darkness. The world is closer to meeting this fate than at any time where freedom, faith, and prosperity languish further towards a neo-Marxist society willing to coexist at some level for a time with religious theocratic oppression. The political will and our calling are the last best hope.
