All Americans will be urged by the Biden administration to get a coronavirus booster shot this autumn ahead of what it claims is a new wave of infections, a White House official said Sunday.

Meanwhile rumors spread on social media about potential COVID lockdowns, after alternative media outlets started reporting on “whistleblower” claims, and reports are coming out that several hospitals are now requiring masks again , and now a Hollywood  movie studio is starting to require masks once more.

Reuters reports the official said while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports an increase in infections and hospital admissions from the virus, overall levels remain low, however caution is urged.

Moderna and other coronavirus vaccine makers Novavax, Pfizer and German partner BioNTech SE have all reportedly created versions of their shots ready and aimed at the XBB.1.5 subvariant.

On Thursday, Moderna said initial data showed its updated coronavirus vaccine is effective against the “Eris” and “Fornax” subvariants in humans.

Meanwhile, on social media Twitter/X, the possibility of future lockdowns trended all weekend long, after controversial talk show host Alex Jones (who in the past reported many false claims, such as the Sandy Hook conspiracy)  reported shocking news on a recent broadcast.

Normally,  Alex Jones’ reporting does not get taken seriously, but these claims made the top of The Drudge Report (which rarely links to fringe sources) and people are paying close attention.

According to Jones, sources from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said that the restrictions will begin as early as next month.

“A high-level TSA official” allegedly told Jones that TSA managers were informed in a meeting Tuesday that TSA and airport employees would be required to wear masks starting in mid-September.

The TSA official also said next week they will receive new guidelines on how the policy will escalate: by mid-October, mask-wearing will be required by pilots, flight staff, passengers, and airport patrons.

After hearing from the TSA manager, Infowars reached out to our trusted Border Patrol source who is also a manager. This source confirmed the same directives were being given to Border Patrol.

They were told it was not a matter of “if” but “when” official Covid numbers will go back up and they expect by mid-October a return to forced-masking policies that the Biden administration previously only reluctantly ended after massive pressure.

Jones said the whistleblowers told him that they expected to see a return to the full COVID lockdown protocol by December.

TJV can not verify Alex Jones’ claims, however mask requirements have been popping up again, in NY state and in Hollywood.

Upstate Medical’s two hospitals, University and Community General, reimposed mandatory face-masking morning after reporting an uptick in Covid-19 cases.

Covid testing is now also required for all patients being admitted to the hospitals, according to a memo sent to Upstate staff and provided to Syracuse.com.

“Effective immediately, mandatory masking is required by all staff, visitors, and patients in clinical areas of Upstate University Hospital, Upstate Community Hospital, and ambulatory clinical spaces,” the memo reads. “Clinical areas are defined as any location patients gather, wait, transport through, or receive care. Masking is strongly recommended in all non-clinical areas.”

Meanwhile, Lionsgate studio  is requiring employees who physically work at its headquarters in Santa Monica to wear masks at all times when in the building, effective immediately, except when alone in an enclosed office or large open workspace. In addition, employees are required to submit to daily COVID testing and to report the results to the company, according to an internal memo obtained by Deadline.
