CUNY Law School = Overt Jew Hating
Dear Editor:
I was shocked, dismayed, angry and went completely nuts when I saw the apparently hidden video of this year’s CUNY Law School graduation ceremony and the commencement speech given by one of its students. It could have been given by one of the Mullahs of Iran or from the grave of Joseph Goebbels, in that it not only called for the destruction of our democratic principles as a country, it was also ridden with overt, hostile Jew hating that we have to understand has many waiting in the aisles to replicate.
A fanatically militant Yemeni, student Fatima Mohammed told her fellow classmates, who, by the way, chose her to deliver her address, “That as Israel continues to indiscriminately rain bullets and bombs on worshippers, murdering the old, the young, attacking even funerals and graveyards, as it encourages lynch mobs to target Palestinian homes and businesses, as it imprisons its children, as it continues its project of another colonialism expelling Palestinians from their homes, carrying the ongoing Nakba, that our silence is no longer acceptable.” She damns America that gave her family salvation from the third world nation she was from. She called for the dismantling of our criminal justice system (and she wants to be a lawyer,) and she wants democracy as we know it to fall. Is this what CUNY Law is punching out? No wonder, then, that their graduates fail the bar exam in about 45% of their first try and many of those who fail stumble at getting positions as shoe sales clerks.
Is this a product of the main institution City College, from which I graduated just 5 years ago? Are most of the students from this class D law school as rabidly racist, hate filled and murderously aggressive as she? Jeffrey Lax, CUNY Professor of Law and Co-Founder of Students and Faculty for Equality at CUNY spoke out. “To my ears, it was a blatant call for American insurrection!” I agree. Perhaps that’s why the administration at that low level institution withheld the video from the public until pressure from Jewish groups forced them to reveal it.
This is a sign that overt Jew hating is still alive and well in this country. To have the nerve to permit such a speaker, at a major NYC institution fire out such words of hate indicate that we Jews have much to worry about. There is no doubt in my mind that such a radical, religious, hate filled lunatic such as this Islamic woman, would have no qualms in lighting the ovens in which Jews would once again be incinerated. And without one blink of her eye. It’s come to this. And just 7 years ago, many of our blind, foolish leaders told us that Jew hating was dead. Nonsense!

The Hijacking of “Fairness”

The latest form of Israel smearing is today’s hijacking of “fairness.” “The new ethnic studies of Santa Ana Unified School District refused to change “narrative” despite protests from Jewish groups…approved two courses criticized for promoting the idea that Israel is a “colonial empire” and guilty of the “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians. Our intent is to listen to all sides, to learn from all sides, and to approach this in a balanced manner.”
The accusation of “ethnic cleansing” is yet another instance of hijacking the truth. Read factually verifiable Camera.org’s “The Nakba Narrative is Nonsense.” I’ll bet my life Santa Ana’s “fair and balanced manner” will omit and/or dismiss contextual historical facts of: Israel attacked repeatedly by its Arab neighbors; refusals to accept a Jewish state with any boundaries; rejection of numerous fair peace offers; Lie after Lie after Lie, & Jew hate speech exposed on Palestinian Media Watch, https://palwatch.org/
Just when we thought we had enough from former Zionist Peter Beinart, who now calls for the end of Israel, we are saddled with his son: “Ezra Beinart brings students together with figures like Tlaib. Engaging with Tlaib to allow her to pose as a friend of the Jews while seeking Israel’s destruction is aiding and abetting a propaganda campaign that targets Jews and their rights…anti-Semitism is on the rise and young Jews need to learn more about the justice of Zionism…those aiding efforts to promote its destruction are not performing a legitimate educational purpose. As I asked in my My Op-Ed, “Where Will Those Who Call for an End to the Jewish State Run When They Come for Them?”, “I strongly recommend an extended stay in any of the nations or territories surrounding Israel to see what kinds of, if any, civil and legal rights they are afforded, as Jews, or even as citizens, assuming they are allowed entry into these Juden free Arab nations…these dangerous, genocidal Jews will make first rate second class citizens under the domination of their future host countries, for fear of their miserable lives.”

The JCRC’s Incompetent “Diplomacy”
Dear Editor:
Bill Thompson is a nice fellow, as was his Dad, the judge.
That said – let us again discuss the craven, warped, weak and dishonorable behavior of the leadership of the JCRC of New York. We refer here to the TOP leadership, as board members have no say there. Having been there for an aggregate 20 years, I know.
The moment of the greatest eruption of vicious, open anti-Semitism in the entire history of the City University of New York is not the time to honor its chairman. Under duress, Thompson and his trustees issued a perfunctory statement of the kind JCRC typically issues – but no action.
JCRC, eager to justify its existence, issued a declaration of “mission accomplished” over the creation of some CUNY Jewish advisory board, leaving aggrieved Jewish students and Jewish faculty in the dust.
We who served on that board under Pataki / Giuliani / Bloomberg know what must be done to curb this cancer of radical Islamists, leftists and anarchists who have control over the University. It involves security, muscle and yes – funding conditions.
All else is a ruse.
JCRC weakens the position of Jews in New York through incompetent “diplomacy.”
