Whether it’s a weekend concert, an overnight stay to savor a food and wine tasting, a hunt for treasures at an arts and crafts festival, or a day at the county fair, there are plenty of different Pocono summer events to enjoy.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the region’s calendar is packed with happenings for families, foodies, couples, outdoor adventurers, music lovers and more. Looking for fireworks, food, and fun? You’ll find them all at the West End Fireman’s Festival. Bring your lawn chair and be sure to try the famous chicken BBQ. The festival benefits four different local fire companies.
The West End Fireman’s Festival is back for 2023. Enjoy music and rides on Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2. On Saturday, June 3 the fun continues for a full day of music, touch-a-truck, craft vendors, food, games and fireworks. Proceeds benefit Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co., West End Fire Co., Polk Township Fire Co. and Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder Fire Co.

The Stourbridge Line

Poconos Triathlon Festival

Calling all Poconos athletes! Enjoy the beautiful summer scenery around Lake Wallenpaupack as you challenge your stamina during a weekend of racing that includes swimming, biking, and running.
The Pocono Triathlon Festival is the newest adventure race to region. Nestled in the Pocono Mountains, Lake Wallenpaupack plays host to a weekend of racing with crystal clear water, challenging bike course, beautiful runs and fantastic post race activities. All athletes will receive a tri-blend race shirt, custom race socks, and a custom finisher’s media. Come for the race, stay for the weekend. Exclusive lodging and activity deals are available. Arts & Crafts Fair in Bingham Park

Nearly 100 artists and crafters from all over the country will be bringing their homemade wares to Hawley’s Bingham Park this summer. It’s the perfect time to grab distinctive gifts for friends, families or yourself!
Enjoy the talents of artists and crafters displaying their fine wares. The fair hosts approximately 90 vendors with truly unique handcrafted items. These accomplished merchants travel from near and far to showcase their creative and distinctive gift ideas for that special someone or yourself! This event will take place rain or shine.
Wayne County Creative Arts Council Summer Concert Series

Don’t miss the great lineup of local musicians who will be bringing their talents and tunes to Honesdale’s Central Park for a free midweek concert series this summer.
Join the Wayne County Creative Arts Council for a summer concert and take in the beauty of the Pocono Mountains in Wayne County while listening to some great music. Every Monday and Thursday enjoy a rotating lineup of local musicians. Rain dates and locations will be posted on Facebook. A special concert will be held on Saturday, July 1 (rain date July 7) at 6:30 p.m. during the Independence Celebration by Doug Smith Band and Crystal Band.

28th Delaware River Sojourn

This one-of-a-kind event is a must for paddlers! Follow the winding course of the Delaware River through New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey over eight days, journeying from the northern reaches of Pike County all the way down to Bordentown Beach. Camping, meals, and educational programs are offered along the way, and participants can register for just a day or two or the full sojourn.
The Sojourn is a guided paddling trip on the wild and scenic Delaware River, combining canoeing/kayaking, camping, educational programs, historical interpretation and more. It is for novice to experienced paddlers of all ages; participants can sign up for the whole event or for the sections or days of their choice. The purpose of the Sojourn is to heighten awareness of and appreciation for the Delaware River and its watershed, which flows through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music & Arts Festival

Groove to the rhythm of live bands performing all day in downtown Honesdale. Visit the main stage in Central Park to watch Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, The 40 Acre Mule, Reggie King Sears, and Mark DeRose & The Dreadnoughts.
Mark your calendars the Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Music and Arts Festival is back on June 17. Spend the morning and early afternoon listening to live bands downtown. Move to Central Park for a FREE concert featuring nationally known acts, as well as an array of artisans, and food vendors. Free parking throughout town all day.
32nd Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine & Food Festival
