Diaspora Time Warp

Dear Editor:

Diaspora Jews frantically send each other kudos for Israel’s disaster team efforts in Turkey. Israel has been doing this for decades, treating even enemy fighters in Israeli hospitals. And we all know 13 Israelis have been awarded the Nobel Prize in fields of chemistry, economics, literature & peace.

Diaspora Jews are stuck in a time warp. They are still operating on the premise that proclaiming the good Israel does will foster good will and fairness towards Israel. Do you seriously think, in 2023, that any of Israel’s contributions protect it one iota from the daily, obsessive false smears which have become the new accepted norm?

Gatestone,  “European Union, Biden Administration Embrace Palestinian Lies,” by Bassam Tawil, “Abbas exposed his antisemitic colors once again by arguing that Israel was created because the Europeans wanted to get rid of the Jews living in their countries, when in fact the Jews have continuously lived in this area, first known as Canaan, which included Judea, since at least 1550 BCE…It is time for the EU and the Biden administration to wake up to the fact that the Palestinian leaders are not interested in peace with Israel. They are interested in peace without Israel…The Palestinian leaders are part of the problem, not part of the solution. The EU and the Biden administration’s double standards and failure to see reality as it is, instead of as they wish it to be, are also part of the problem.”

May I suggest to the Diaspora that instead of living in the past when facts about Israel mattered, you wake up to our present day War of Words.  Take out full page ads, fund billboards, petitions, exposing these Arabs’ re-writing Jews out of their history, Abbas’ repeated refusals to accept Israel with any boundaries.

Perhaps then, Europe’s love affair for these Arabs will be shown for what it is: old fashioned Jew hate, in the new form of anti-Zionism where Israel can do no right while these Arabs’ lies are taken as gospel truth.

Angered at Treatment of People in Ohio Town 

Dear Editor:

I’m furious at the treatment of the poor people of East Palestine, Ohio at the hands of the inept, incompetent, corrupt, America hating Biden Administration. When will the president wake up and pay some sort of visit to this beleagured, in pain town? Why hasn’t he gone there yet? He’s made a few political fund raising trips around the country, visited Ukraine and Poland and spent week-ends at his ocean front home and has ignored these Americans who are in need of government assistance. Has he no pity for them? No concern of the effects of the noxious fumes they’re inhaling? Isn’t this an environmental emergency the likes we’ve not seen since 9-11?

Why had it taken so long for our Secretary of Transportaion, Peter Buttigieg to show his childish face at the scene? Did he notice the barely few blacks in residence in that town that made him ignore them for so long? Of course, had this been a black area, he would have had his private jet get him there in no time flat. I’m concerned that we’re a divided country now and until we get President Trump back in office, we’ll be led down the primrose path to hell by stupid, inept, worthless Progressives such as we have now, destroying the country.

Progressive Left Destroying Our Country

Dear Editor:

A recent letter writer indicated opposition to frequent contributor, Ginette Weiner and for her support for President Trump and conservative values in general. I suppose he’ll soon be attacking that brilliant letter printed in your paper on February 3rd, by a Ken Abramowitz, in which he expertly and roundly accuses the progressive left of attempting to destroy our country from within. I’m on Ken’s and Ginette’s side. Biden, held up, artificially supported and spoon fed his words by Barack Obama is certain to damage our country, perhaps permanently, in the next two years. Anyone with the basic intelligence he/she was born with and cannot see how fragile and out of touch with reality this current president is, must be considered dangerous and avoided at all costs. I would suggest a head examination.

Thinks Trump Should Return to the White House

Dear Editor:

The world is in crisis and we need the likes of President Trump back in office. I miss him and it’s so hard to believe but…. so do the other Americans who voted against him. Democrats are afraid to voice their dislike of the Biden policies for fear of antagonizing their friends, relatives and acquaintances who also adhere to the Democrat line. They all know the country is in the toilet under the liberal leadership we have that is incompetent and useless. Look at how we treat our fellow Americans in East Palestine, Ohio. They are dirt to the President. They are white, work for a living and salute the flag. All evils according to the Leftist philosophy.

Look at inflation, cutting into the pocketbooks of all of us, Democrats, Republicans, White, Black or whatever. We’re all suffering and there appears no end in sight. Foreign policy wise, we’re in danger of WWIII. We have no leader at the helm. No country, friend or foe, respects us. Our enemies see a window of opportunity now, under Biden, to attack us and subdue us without concern for our military intimidating their plans. China, Russia, North Korea and Iran, when Trump led us, were fearful of even threatening us. They knew he meant business and would not tolerate their words. They knew better than to mess with him. He was not a politician, he was a straight shooter. Now, we’re vulnerable and weak; internally and worldwide. My guess is that we’re in G-d’s hands now. I’m scared.
