According to a blog entry on the web site of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) dated March 6th, it appears that the organization dedicated to defending the rights of those who are being discriminated against, has much to say about those who are defending the rights of children, parents and families across the United States.
The ADL claimed that at the top of the agenda at the recently held Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) 2023 conference in National Harbor, Maryland was “anti-transgender hate.”
The organization, headed up by former Obama administration official Jonathan Greenblatt, said that the speakers lineup included such “conspiracy theorists like Jack Posobiec, purveyors of Covid disinformation like Dr. Robert Malone and anti-LGBTQ+ extremists like Chaya Raichik.” They also asserted that CPAC had “previously welcomed white supremacists, right-wing nationalists and other extremists.” These tendentious descriptions illustrate just how politically left-wing the organization has morphed into over the decades.
The ADL went on to state that, “at the March 2023 event, anti-trans rhetoric was a central theme, promoted by extremist and mainstream speakers alike. One speaker went as far as to call for the complete eradication of “transgenderism” from American society. This disturbing rhetoric reflects the broader, dangerous trend of anti-LGBTQ+ extremism in the U.S.”
They continued by saying that “CPAC speakers used their platforms to advocate for policies that would ban trans athletes in collegiate and professional sports. Former president Trump stated that as president he would “keep men out of women’s sports.” In a speech laden with anti-trans rhetoric, college athlete and anti-trans activist Riley Gaines spoke about her recent experiences testifying at state legislatures across the country to “save women’s sports” by banning transgender athletes. This movement is part of efforts in 29 states to pass anti-trans student athletic bills in 2022.”

The ADL also claimed that “CPAC speakers played into the dangerous and baseless narratives around “grooming” and “pedophilia” in the LGBTQ+ community – narratives that have inspired real-world violence against that community. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) claimed that educators are attempting to “groom” children, echoing similar claims from Libs of TikTok. Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard baselessly claimed that the LGBTQ+ community was trying to gain acceptance for pedophiles by labeling them “minor-attracted persons” and allowing them to teach in schools. Sebastian Gorka continued his anti-trans rhetoric by claiming that drag shows for children are “sexually perverse.”
The organization also claimed that “Daily Wire host Michael Knowles said “For the good of society, ‘transgenderism’ must be eradicated from public life entirely.” The call was met with rousing applause.”
JEWISH VOICE EDITORIAL BOARD’S RESPONSE TO ADL ATTACKS ON CPAC
The ADL’s attack on Chaya Raichik of Libs of Tik Tok for her comments at CPAC 2023 as well as their condemnations of the other prominent speakers at CPAC for expressing their views pertaining to the tremendous danger that the transgendered movement represents to the children of this country is beyond deplorable.
To set the record straight, Ms. Raichick is definitely not homophobic nor does she hold anti-gay views. The issue here is that she and others are witnessing the fact that what has been spawned from the gay rights movement is that they are now exploiting their new “liberation” status by fostering and supporting the trans movement and its nefarious agenda of attempting to groom young children for a sexualized lifestyle.
Through the use of “Drag Queens” reading stories to children in libraries, through the inclusion of transgendered education for young children in public schools with a pronounced emphasis on accepting and embracing this life style as a viable option, through Disney’s orchestrated campaign of including trans characters in their animated productions and their policy of displaying trans character at Disney World and their other theme parks, it has become abundantly clear for anyone who has eyes to see and ears that hear that there is a paradigm cultural shift taking place in this country.
The roots of this dangerous shift can be attributed to the woke, progressive movement, whose loathsome agenda goes far beyond electing far-left wing candidates to office and to altering the history of the United States through demands that statues and monuments that they deem to be racist be taken down. They are interested in cultivating and indoctrinating the new generation of youth with a perverted set of values that flies in the face of the Judeo-Christian morality that has been the backbone of this nation.
Having said this, the ADL has climbed on to the “woke agenda bandwagon” and have posited themselves as defenders of all “liberal, left wing” causes and issues. The ADL was formed in the immediate aftermath of the now famous Leo Frank case in 1915, with the laudable mission of speaking out against virulent anti-Semitism. Throughout the decades, however, their purpose has changed and in order to gain respect from the non-Jewish world and especially those in the politically liberal camp, they have championed the civil rights of all minority groups. While that is a quite an admirable mission objective, they have now insinuated themselves as advocates for the rights of those who seek to poison the minds, hearts and souls of our children. And that can never be tolerated or accepted.
It is noteworthy to remind ourselves that Jonathan Greenblatt, the current chief executive officer of the ADL and its sixth national director had previously served as Special Assistant to former President Obama and was the Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation in the United States Domestic Policy Council. This speaks volumes as to the agenda that he came to the ADL with. We would not be at all surprised to discover that former President Obama recommended Greenblatt for the ADL position, based on the confidence that the former president had in him in promulgating a pro-trans agenda among other questionable positions.
The ADL should be confronted about their scathing critiques of Ms. Raichik and the other speakers at CPAC by the forces of morality and those dedicated to vigilance against the perversion of eternal and cherished values that our families were raised on. The ADL should be put on notice that we will not sit idly by while they exercise their rights to be staunch proponents of those who are actively seeking to destroy our children. Their misguided condemnations of CPAC speakers makes it clear that they are driven by a distinct political partisanship and that is the biggest shame of it all.
