CNN Must Terminate “Misogynistic” Don Lemon

Don Lemon has to go! The disgraced CNN host, seems to have the nine lives of a cat. His show’s ratings reveal that his show is the network’s lowest rated morning show ever, and although an outspoken gay guy, he also sports being a racist, anti-white bigot and of late, an openly verbal woman hater. To keep us all up to date, he recently made derogatory comments about announced Republican presidential candidate, Nikki Haley. He was kicked off primetime not only because of his poor ratings but because of his claim, on camera, that Ms. Haley shouldn’t run for office because of her age. A big no-no in the liberal community.

He blurted out proudly, “A woman is in their (sic) prime in their 20’s and 30’s and maybe 40’s. Google it!” His co-host, Poppy Harlow was baffled and enraged. “Are you talking about prime, for like, childbearing? Or are you talking about prime for being president?” she asked. And he immediately responded: “Don’t shoot the messenger. I’m just saying what the facts are. She would not be in her prime according to Google or whatever it is.” We took up his challenge and we did. No mention of over-the-age-prime. As well, Professor Martha Johnson of Mills College disagrees. “Why on earth would someone, say 20s 30s, or even 40s, be considered out of their prime? That’s only if you are thinking of women and their appearance or their childbearing capacity.” She continued,” Women actually reach their stride in politics  and in the world much later in life than men.” Just look at Israeli Prime Minister, Golda Meir, scientist Marie Curie, astronaut Sally Ride and Rachel Carson, as examples.

Lemon, has been referred to many times by Fox commentators as “an idiot and the dumbest prime time figure.” We agree. But he’s also dangerous. He spouted his gay-leaning opinion when he smilingly told his audience that male athletes are, “more interesting to watch.” His sports loving male audience must have gone wild. As well, text messages reveal he was counseling Chicago race-attack fabricator, Jussie Smollett and tipping him off to a police investigation. We should not give this guy a pass just because he’s a (fading) black star. He was ordered by his bosses to give a Zoom-apology meeting from his vacation in Miami, this week. But all this guy could muster to soften the insult to his fellow female co-workers was, “I’m sorry I said it.” Nothing like, “It will never happen again.” He also, reportedly praised himself for being such a big guy to admit he’s wrong.

According to the New York Post, a CNN insider reported that employees of CNN have demanded Lemon be squeezed out of his job. Fired! “He has to go. He is hurting the brand. Women aren’t even focused on the sexism. It’s the damage to CNN.” Another furious CNN employee: “Everyone is pissed about it,” referring to Lemon’s attention grabbing gaffes, “It makes us the story and it hurts us.”

And referring again to his “apology” conference, another staffer said: “It was very self centered and he lied. They made him do it.!” Not good for CNN’s staff morale, to say the least. And as for his co-host Poppy Harlow, she said and did it all. She walked off the set when he disparaged “over-aged” women. We suggest to CNN that they get rid of this overripe, juiceless Lemon and hire an older woman to replace him. A proper kick in the behind for this brainless dude.
