Mike Pompeo, took the words out of our mouths when he blasted Randi Weingarten, the president of the all powerful American Federation of Teachers as being more dangerous to our country than Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Heavy accusations eye opening and necessary for the public to digest and consider, especially for the parents of children attending schools taught by the agents of Weingarten. Pompeo, formerly an elected House member from Kansas, served as the CIA Director and as Secretary of State under President Trump and may be a Republican presidential candidate in 2024. He excoriated Weingarten at the recent Republican Jewish Coalition convention in Las Vegas with these words: “I get asked, ‘Who’s the most dangerous person in the world? It’s not a close call. Who’s the most likely to take this republic down? It would be the filth that they’re teaching our kids, and the fact that they don’t know math and reading or writing.’ “ The latter, in our opinion goes for both teachers and their wards.
We agree that Weingarten is a dire threat to our nation. During a radio interview with the Rick Smith Show she exhibited her loathing for parents by calling them “warmongers” merely because they objected to classroom programs on sexuality and gender fluidity directed at children as young as five, supported and taught by her union troops. She feels as Hillary Clinton once expounded on as to who would be best to raise children: “It takes a village.,” she stated. No it doesn’t! That’s definitely the responsibility of the home, the parents. This arrogance of Woke Progressives like Randi and Hillary are nothing new.
Weingarten’s oversized ego and hyperbolic speech against those she determines to be her enemies are well known. And with Pompeo’s attack teacher unions are finally receiving the scrutiny they so richly deserve over their politicizing school children. They want to control the minds of our youth. Vladimir Lenin taught them well. His words: “Give me just one generation of youth and I’ll transform the whole world.” And he went further: “Destroy the family and you destroy the country.” And the public schools run by teacher unions are hard at work to do so. They must be stopped!
Weingarten wants her public school teachers to have free reign in classrooms. In her view, shared by the teaching staffs, teachers are more powerful than parents. The pandemic has destroyed any partnership between parents and teachers. Children locked down and forced to learn online in their homes for two years exposed what exactly was going on in classrooms. Parents were appalled to see lessons and homework assignments that amount to normalizing sexual discussions with children too young to understand the topic. Sexual education is the responsibility of the home. Florida’s Governor DeSantis taught the unions a lesson that sex education is not a viable subject for grammar school kids. He and Pompeo are now avowed enemies of Weingarten and the radical, liberal, progressive teacher unions.
DeSantis also scrapped the teaching of the New York Times’ “1619 Project” that redefines the origin of our nation back to the year the first slave set foot on this land. And guess who fought tooth and nail for that anti-American destruction of our nation’s history? Of course, Weingarten. Pompeo on that subject: “If our kids don’t grow up understanding America is an exceptional nation, we’re done. If they think it’s an oppressor class and an oppressed class, if they think the 1619 project, and we were founded on a racist idea-if those are the things kids entering the seventh grade have deeply embedded in their understanding of America, it’s difficult to understand how Xi Jinping’s claim that America is in decline won’t prove true.”
The American school system would be better off without the likes of Weingarten and her teacher unions. Pompeo’s overt, truthful attack on her is welcomed by us. The existence of newly awakened parents must worry her and her entrenched minions and we hope they express their opinions come next Election Day.
