Former President Donald Trump, visiting Michigan for the second time in six months to get out the vote for GOP candidates, delivered a controversial speech, lambasting Democrats and lashing out against NY AG General Letitia James.

The evening before Trump had detractors exploding into a frenzy after he took to Truth Social on Friday night and attacked Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell and his wife.

Trump targeted McConnell because he voted for expansive spending legislation sponsored by Democrats: “He has a DEATH WISH”, Trump wrote in reference to the GOP Senate leader, which sparked accusations of Trump espousing violence and some leftist critics went as far as to claim Trump was calling out to “MAGA” Republicans to violently attack McConnell.

Trump then said McConnell will go seek “advice from his China loving, Coco Chow!” This remark was universally panned by not only Democrats but many Republicans as well, who  considered it a racist slang against Elaine Chao, who is Asian.

With political commentators in a rage over these Truth Social Posts, Trump’s Michigan rally was explosive.

Railing against crime and a surge in contacts with undocumented immigrants at the southern border, he went through a list of violent incidents involving immigrants and said that countries around the world were sending prisoners to cross into the U.S.

At various points during the speech, Trump repeated claims that the 2020 election in several key states, including Michigan, had been fraudulently won by Biden. These claims have driven the mainstream media into a strange frenzy, with claims that it is unprecedented to claim fraud in a presidential election, even though, Democrats accused the GOP of cheating in the 2000, 2004 and 2016 elections. None the less, Trump continues to talk about the 2020 election pushing the buttons of the establishment media.

The speech was intended to help GOP gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon, Attorney General nominee Matt DePerno and Secretary of State nominee Kristina Karamo as well as others running for Congress or the state Legislature but Trump spent very little time plugging the upcoming election and instead focused on his personal grievances.

“Let’s talk about the persecution of Donald Trump and the Republican Party,” Trump said at the start of the speech and did just that.

The former President railed against the $50 million lawsuit filed NY Attorney General Letitia James on Sept. 21, which accuses the Trump Organization of vast fraud for allegedly falsely inflating his net worth by manipulating the value of some of his prized assets — including his numerous golf courses, hotels and homes.

He told the crowd Saturday that he has done “nothing wrong” and that “There’s no victim except Trump,” in the case.

“They’re all attacking me including the racist AG, attorney general, in New York, whose state is falling apart from murders, rapes, robberies, drug deals and every other kind of form of record-breaking crime,” the 45th president said.

“The homeless are sadly but dangerously roaming all over the streets of New York City and the city is filthy as is this racist AG. She is just as bad as you’re going to get.”
