Kanye West is Committing Career Suicide

With all of the concerns we have with inflation, immigration and the like, we now have the idiot billionaire, black comic, entertainer, songwriter, entrepreneur and celebrity, Kanye West, stir up Jewish waves of concern over his overt Jew-hating remarks during an hours long interview on national television. With the already growing attacks on NYC Jews by criminals of color, the many advocates of Louis Farrakhan running for office, we needed West’s observations like a hole in the head. In the initial TV sit-down he ranted and raved about Jews controlling everything.

He included his thoughts on doubting the motivations of Jared Kushner and his momentous achievements with the Abraham Accords, by attributing that his motives were only to, “make him money.” He dug deeper into his Jew hating comments with; “I just think that’s what they’re ’bout, is making money. I don’t think they have the ability to make anything on their own. I think they were born into money.” Sounds like he’s in Berlin, back in 1938. Liora Rez, the Executive Director of the watchdog group, StopAntisemitism, jumped on him by calling his statements, “horrifying.” We agree…and more. He’s a dangerous man and must be stopped in his tracks: Career-dollar wise, shunned by the media and condemned by elected leaders of all political stripes.

In doing so, we commend the statements of Ari Emanuel, the CEO of the Endeavor talent and media agency. In an op-ed in the Financial Times this Wednesday, Emanuel insisted that “Apple (AAPL) and Spotify (SPOT,) which host West’s music, whoever organizes West’s tours, and Adidas, which collaborates with West on his fashion line, should all stop working with him. West is just not any person – he is a pop culture icon with millions of fans around the world, young people whose views are still being formed.” West, who claims to be against Jews for their “money seeking ways,” has a net worth of well over $2 billion, with more pouring in and is also in negotiations to purchase “Parler,” a social network platform that’s an alternative to Facebook and Twitter.” Emanuel called on the parent company, Parliament Technologies Inc. to refuse to sell Parler to West. We agree.

He’s a dangerous, inflammatory bigot and must be taken down.

And kudos to former basketball star, LeBron James, who had the guts to speak out against West’s hatred for Jews. James, who hosts a talk show called The Shop, also a client of Emanuel, canceled a previously taped interview with West. That’s the way to hit West, in the pocketbook! To add to the torrent of negative reactions was Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL, who called on Adidas to end its partnership with West that brought him over $220 million in royalties merely for the sales of his Yeezy sneakers. Scratch that product off you gift list. We applaud the ADL for telling its advocates:” We hope that more companies, individuals and political leaders will take action to show that there will be consequences for such hateful rhetoric and that they do not give West’s Jew hating a pass.”

If the community, members of all faiths and of all colors, just stand by and ignore these outright words of hate, derision and bias against Jews, we will live to regret our inactions. At this point in time, with inflation, crime and other uncertainties threatening our way of life, there is a tendency for hatred to flourish, for the scapegoating of others for the problems we all face. And historically, Jews have been the victims in similar situations. Let us not let the likes of this dangerous man, Kanye West, stoke the flames of Jew hating through his bully platform given him by his employers and business associates. Let’s stop him in his tracks before the fires he’s igniting catch on and incinerate us all. He must be treated like the hater he is.
