New York’s Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul actually told Republicans to get out of her state: “And we’re here to say that the era of Trump and Zeldin and Molinaro — just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong. Ok. Get outta town. Get outta town. Because you don’t represent our values. You are not New Yorkers.”
Zeldin responded with a lengthy statement, adding on Twitter:
“This is reason enough to toss Kathy Hochul out of office November 8. I’m not going anywhere. I’m a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised. I’m going to stay and fight to Save Our State from the continued rule of the most arrogant, power-hungry, elitist Governor in America.“
On Friday, Hochul was asked to clarify her remarks about the Republicans in an exchange with reporters.
“Excuse me, I’ll answer your question. OK? I referred to three individuals: Donald Trump, County Executive Molinaro, and Congressman Lee Zeldin. I spoke about three people who’s views we believe are extreme. They supported the overturning of a presidential election,” Hochul said.
Many prominant Democrats seem to be lock step in a new politicsl message, Republicans are not Americns, Republicans are traitrors, Trump supporters are evil.
Last week, Biden insulted “MAGA Republicans” as semi-fascists. “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something: It’s like semi-fascism,” Biden said. He later told donors, “I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans.”
Democrat gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist said last week that Floridians who support Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis “should stay with him and vote for him, and I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there.”
As Democrats roll out this very offensive talking point, President Biden is due to seak to the nation on Thursday, and this divicive divisive message is rumored to be the central message. Biden ran for president under the messafe of uniting America, clearly he has chosen another path.
