Queens Politico Welcomes Cuomo $$$, Praises Disgraced Former Gov

A Queens politician has nothing but praise for former Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, after receiving a last-minute campaign contribution of $4,700.

“Of course, I welcome Andrew’s support,” Assemblywoman Vivian Cook told The Post on Sunday. “His support is a plus. Anybody’s support is a plus. I’ve known Andrew for a long time. I’ve known his father [Former Gov. Mario Cuomo], I’ve known his mother [Matilda Cuomo]. His father was a good governor. Andrew did a lot of good things, too”.

Cook is 85 years old and represents Jamaica Estates, Rochdale Village, and Springfield neighborhoods of Queens as a New York State Assemblywoman in Albany.

Cuomo in turn praised the veteran legislator, who was first elected in 1990 to represent parts of Southeast Queens. The district’s mostly black, middle-class residents made up a key part of the ex-gov’s political base.

According to her Wikipedia page, Vivian Cook is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Cook has served as a District Leader in Queens for over 25 years. As of January 2019, Cook is the County Committee Chair of the Queens County Democratic Committee.

Cook was first elected to the State Assembly in 1990. She was appointed Chairwoman of the Task Force on Food and the Farm and Nutrition Policy in 2000. As of June 2019, Cook serves as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Standing Committees. Cook ran uncontested in the 2008 and 2010 general elections.

In 2010, the New York Daily News reported that Cook was among the Assembly members that refused to disclose her outside income. In December 2018, a former staffer filed a discrimination lawsuit accusing Cook of being an abusive boss who used profanity and racial slurs.

To this day, even after all the sexual harassment allegations, ignorant New Yorkers, literally worship Cuomo due to his pandemic daily briefings, where he power-tripped on the TV every day, threatening businesses and citizens, who dared to defy his draconian and state destroying lock down orders, which had no basis in science. Before the pandemic, Cuomo had zero knowledge or experience regarding virology, but due to the magic of the media and the fear of the people, a product of pure nepotism became and expert on the spread of a virus, in one of the most absurdist periods in the history of NY
