The events that left 13 U.S. Marines killed in action and scores of U.S. civilians and innocent Afghans dead due to a suicide bombing was because of the poor planning and decision making from Joe Biden.
The shedding of American blood & innocent Afghans in Afghanistan could well have been avoided.
Let me be crystal-clear — President Joe “The buck stops with me” Biden bears the full responsibility for the murder of American servicemen, U.S. civilians and — innocent Afghans.
Biden’s evacuation plan to evacuate troops and intelligence assets before civilians was flawed. And his decision to evacuate military bases and leave U.S. helicopters, tanks, and weapons behind constituted the most egregious of tactical errors.
Biden’s statements that it was unlikely the Taliban would take over Afghanistan was nothing short of delusional.
Biden’s belief that the Taliban would let people evacuate was irrational.
Biden’s belief that the Taliban would provide security to Americans was beyond irrational, it was insane and every American should be asking why Biden chose to put his faith into the Taliban.
The president, Secretary Antony Blinken (and others) have been wrong on almost everything relating to the Mideast.
The Afghanistan debacle served as yet another prime example of the horrific errors in Biden’s judgment more than adversely impacting U.S. foreign policy.
The Biden adminstration’s weakness and errors don’t end in Afghanistan, they also extend to the Islamic Republic of Iran as well.
During a meeting last fall between Biden and Israel Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, Biden said that he was putting “diplomacy first,” in an attempt to rein in Iran’s nuclear program, but that if negotiations fail he would be prepared to turn to other unspecified options.
First of all, negotiations have failed by all accounts and secondly, we all know that Biden won’t take any actions to stop Iran’s enrichment of uranium and quest to obtain a nuclear weapon.
Thus, on Biden’s watch, Iran has increased enrichment levels to over 60% and by all accounts they have the resources needed for a nuclear warhead.
U.S. Special Representative for Iran Rob Malley, has offered to lift billions in economic sanctions and the Iranian Regime has indicated they will not entertain reentering the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) until the U.S. re-enters the deal with no questions asked.
This policy of re-entering the JCPOA with no questions asked is a policy position that the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) has taken and actively promoted at nauseum.
Diplomacy with the leading global state sponsor of terrorism was destined to fail from the beggining. They are a terrorist regime that doesn’t share any of the values that the American people cherish.
Ask yourself:
why would we negotiate with a country whose values don’t align with ours?
Who is getting rich from this “diplomacy”?
The reality is the Islamic Republic will continue its campaign of censorship, oppression, and the murder of its own citizens, all while funding terrorism — globally.
The American people must ask how they stand to benefit from negotiating with a country whose leaders have used the chant “Death to America, Death to Israel” as their calling-card since 1979. Spoiler alert – we don’t benefit in any way shape or form.
In closing, let me say this. Joe Biden would be wise to take a page out of President Donald J. Trump’s policy of “Peace Through Strength.”
America’s 45th commander in chief knew that terrorists only comply with one type of approach; strength. He well knew that terrorists exploit weakness and that is why he always backed up his words with strong actions.
Mr. Trump also knew when we draw a red line in the sand and the enemy crosses that red line, we must hit them — with all of our might.
Unfortunately, Biden has taken a soft approach in dealing with Tehran’s mullahs; because of this genuinely flawed approach, America’s allies and our assets in the region remain in harm’s way and are now dead.
President Biden has failed the American people by projecting weakness onto the world and by negotiating with terrorists in the Mideast.
Biden has demonstrated to the world that he’s all bark and no bite.
Unless Biden drastically changes his tone and action, more Americans and our allies will die in the Mideast, and beyond. The time is now for all Americans to join me in speaking out on this issue.
