Netflix Star Julia Haart Sued by Husband; Employees Describe Her as “Nightmare Boss”

By: VIN Staff

Netflix star Julia Haart is being sued by her non-Jewish soon-to-be ex-husband.

According to reports, wealthy businessman Silvio Scaglia Haart alleges that she wrongfully took $850,000 from his company, after she was informed that she was going to be fired.

The lawsuit claims that the infamous star of “My Unorthodox Life” illegally transferred the money on Feb. 8, one day after Silvio sent her an email saying that she was being removed as CEO. It claims that the transfer violated an agreement Julia made not to not make any withdrawals over $250,000.

The alleged transfer came from an account owned by Freedom Holding, which controls Elite World Group, owned by Scaglio, where Julia had served as CEO since 2019.

Julia’s attorney, Marty Singer, was quoted as saying that the lawsuit is “not based in fact” and it “is a jointly owned account.”

The lawsuit cited an email from Silvio, saying that he was firing her in part, because “targets which led to your appointment as CEO have not been met and that no visible progress was made in that direction, despite almost $50M costs incurred in the effort.”

As reported earlier this week, Haart filed for divorce on February 9th, one day after the alleged fund transfer took place. The lawsuit claims that she transferred the money to “enrich herself” at the expense of Scaglia.

In addition, according to the NY Post, Haart applied for a restraining order against Scaglia, saying that he threatened to kill her, hated her kids and made anti-Semitic comments.

.

The Post spoke to three employees who worked with Haart and described her as a terror to work for.

One employee described Haart’s vacation to South Africa in 2019 which turned into a chaotic nightmare. She allegedly refused to fly direct, because the only seats available were business class. Instead the family flew via Dubai.

Their flight was delayed and they landed too late for a private charter plane to take off to their final destination, due to safety issues.

.

The employee said, “Julia was livid at us, she berated us … It was terrible, so much screaming. We had to find a new five-star hotel in Johannesburg for them for that one night.”

The staffers — who were supposed to be on vacation as well — were constantly abused. At one point, she woke them up at 3 a.m. asking for a Starbucks where she could get her daily Skinny Vanilla Latte.

She also demanded a flight be chartered to bring a passport to Cape Town after it was left at another resort.

One traumatized employee said, “I slept with my phone under my pillow for years in case she called. I definitely suffer from PTSD, and talking about it brings up a lot … but I left that hell hole and I never looked back.”
