Keep Those Letters Coming…
Congratulations to my fellow 2021 Letter to the Editor writers. Surveys reveal that “Letters To The Editor” is one of the most widely read and popular sections of any newspaper.
Most newspapers will print letters submitted by any writer regardless of where they live so long as the topic is relevant to readers.
It helps to have a snappy introduction, good hook, be timely, precise, have an interesting or different viewpoint to increase your odds of being published. Many papers welcome letters commenting on their own editorials, articles or previously published letters to the editor.
I continue to be grateful that you afford both me and my fellow letter writers the opportunity to express our views, as well as differing opinions on issues of the day.

Dear Editor:
Kudos on your articles regarding the new Mayor, Eric Adams. I and my immediate family and close friends are taking deep breaths hoping that he will clean house in City Hall and begin a new era of safety and concern for all New Yorkers. For too long, we’ve been oppressed by DeBlasio and his lunacy laden operatives. Our schools are a disgrace, our law enforcement is non existent our streets resemble those of Afghanistan and our future is bleak. I, along with about 10 million New Yorkers, pray for a change by Mayor Adams.

Dear Editor:
Correct me if I’m wrong but your paper hints of supporting Trump, right wingers and a totalitarian state. I live in Vermont and am represented by Bernie Sanders who should now be seated in the White House. You should interview him to let your readers learn of his background, heritage, opinions and plans for the future of our nation.
Sanders is opinionated but has an open mind as to what’s best for the nation. He sees, and I agree with him, that there’s too much money in the pockets of a few. Too much power wielded by too few. Bernie has always wanted and spoke up for equality among the people. He’d redistribute wealth among the people. He’s always been for the common person. Everyone should share with those who need assistance. Sanders would make a super president. Let’s not forget him in 2024.

Is Fauci a “Medical Guru?”
Dear Editor:
When will the medical system wake up and refute Dr. Fauci for his dangerous appropriation as “Medical Guru” for the nation. He has changed his opinion on masks, the vaccines, quarantine periods and has even entered the political fray in support of the Radical Left. He should be cold shouldered by us all and left to meander around the nation speaking to the mindless rabble who follow his advice.

Respect for the Flag in Professional Sports
Dear Editor:
Just like a previous letter writer, I’ve given up on the NFL Sundays and weekdays, whenever they are televised. Their un-American attitudes, disdain for the flag and hatred for what this nation stands for cannot be condoned by the viewing public who pay their salaries through purchases and TV contracts. If we all do this, stop watching, the networks would pressure management of the teams to force the players and their union to show respect for the flag and country. Get on the stick and show the power of the people.

The UN’s Reinvention of Jerusalem’s Past

The UN is at it again. On November 26, 2021, the General Assembly adopted a resolution referring to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, where the Temple of Solomon once stood, only by its Arabic name, the Haram al-Sharif.
For years now, UNESCO has been systematically pushing false narratives about Jerusalem that deny the historic connection of the Jewish people to their holy city. What was axiomatic 200 years ago is now called into question.
I’m still surprised by the scale of disinformation and by the depth of ignorance regarding the Holy City in the face of overwhelming evidence of its historical past.
This historical connection is engraved in the Old Testament, the New Testament and even in the Quran.
The Jewish people streamed back to their historical capital whenever they could. By 1864, the British documented that the Jewish people had re-established an undeniable majority in Jerusalem that continues to this day.

Wants Speedy Delivery of the Jewish Voice
Dear Editor:
I enjoy your paper’s format. But I live in South Florida and receive your paper weeks after its publication date. The news, by that time, is old and useless. Is there any way to speed up mail delivery? Or could there be other distribution methods to get the paper to us out of towners on time? But til then, keep up the good work.
