A new book is being released on November 30, entitled “Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech and the dirty secrets the President tried to hide”. Written by Miranda Devine, NY Post Journalist and Fox News Contributor, the book sets out to divulge secrets found on Hunter Biden’s damaged laptop, which he abandoned at a repair shop in Delaware in April 2019. The 224-page book includes details from the trove of documents, emails, text messages, and voice recordings spanning some 10 years, which seek to show President Joe Biden was involved in his son’s China and Ukraine deals, despite his incessant denial.
As reported by the NY Post, the Biden family sealed a deal with CEFC, a giant Chinese-government-linked energy consortium well-known as the capitalist arm of President Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative, which sought to spread China’s influence across the globe. Led by Chairman Ye Jianming, 40, the Chinese conglomerate is among of the biggest energy companies in the world.
In February 2017, shortly after Biden’s vice presidency came to a close, Hunter had met with Mr. Ye and closed a deal where Ye had offered him $10 million a year, for a minimum of three years, for “introductions alone”, as per a later email from Hunter to CEFC executives. The alliance was also sealed with a gift from Ye— a 3.16 carat diamond worth $80,000. Hunter’s laptop had pictures of the valuable diamond as well as the gemological grading report for the “round brilliant” stone of “F” color with prime “VS2” clarity and “excellent” cut.
The book says, it was James Gilliar, 56, a former Special Air Service officer in the British army, who had first connected Ye with the Biden family. In December 2015, Gilliar also tapped Tony Bobulinski, naval officer turned wealthy institutional investor, saying he needs help structuring a Chinese joint venture for “one of the most prominent families in the United States.” Gilliar would soon after disclose, “the family is the Biden family.” This is about when Joe Biden had announced he wouldn’t run for presidency in 2016, which would potentially leave him time to become more involved in the venture. At the time, Gilliar said, the Bidens expected billions of dollars to flow through the world-class firm. In March 2016, Gilliar let Bobulinski know who the Chinese partner for the Biden’s was: CEFC, which has “more money than God,” he wrote adding, “This is the capital arm of one belt one road.” News of the laptop and its contents had first surfaced in a scandal during the 2020 presidential election.
