USA Today Nominates Poconos as One of Top10 Best Fall Foliage Destinations: Cast Your Vote

There is one week left to vote for the Pocono Mountains in the USA TODAY 10Best Destinations for Fall Foliage contest. The Poconos is currently ranked 4 out of 20 nominees from across the country.
Please continue to spread the word and cast your vote daily for the Poconos here. Voting closes next Monday, August 30, 2021, at 11:59 a.m.
“The Pocono Mountains are ablaze with hues of red, orange and yellow come autumn, thanks to the area’s 127 species of indigenous trees, plants and shrubs,” said USA TODAY 10Best. “Leaf peepers can hop in the car for a scenic cruise along Route 507 near Lake Wallenpaupack or climb aboard a fall foliage train.”
A panel of experts and 10Best editors selected the Poconos as a nominee. The four-county region has been nominated for this contest several years in a row, securing 8th place in 2020 and 4th place in 2019.
