IAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that “things are going to get worse” in the U.S. as the so-called COVID delta variant spreads, but claimed there won’t be more lockdowns.
ABC’s “This Week” host Jonathan Karl asked Fauci on Sunday if America would return to lockdowns as Joe Biden had recently suggested.
“John, I don’t think we’re gonna see lockdowns. I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country — not enough to crush the outbreak — but I believe enough to not allow us to get into the situation we were in last winter,” Fauci said
