The NYT Propaganda Machine Unleashed

Last week, The New York Times (NYT) immersed itself, once again, for the umpteenth time, in its Green Slime of anti-Israel hatred and contempt. We cannot see anyone, Jewish or otherwise, who has any sort of feeling for the Jewish State to continue reading and supporting this “good for only floor covering” rag. Last week the NYT aroused a loud and vociferous backlash by its clearly biased “reporting” on the most recent attempt by Palestinians including Hamas and Muslim Israeli citizens to overthrow Israel. Of course, its wording in its faux reporting, showed the paper’s overwhelming leaning to represent the Palestinians as oppressed, persecuted and slaughtered by the ever-evil, Israelis. This time they tried for a four bagger, but struck out big-time.

Lenny Ben-David, former Israeli diplomat stated: “I have never seen worse anti-Israel propaganda information than this @nytimes piece in my 40+ years of defending Israel.”

Abe Foxman formerly head of the ADL commented: “The NYT continues to be shameless in its coverage of the Hamas war against Israel and its citizens. Its bias against Israel and Jews who support Israel is reflected in its coverage internationally, domestically and on the opinion pages. NYT readers deserve better.” Sad to tell you Abe, but it’s not gonna happen until those who advertise in and purchase this paper wake up and stop supporting it.

As the most recent Hamas war continued with 3,000 Hamas rockets hurtling towards Israel’s cities and retaliatory Israel pinpoint targeting of only Hamas leaders and their launching sites, the NYT ran a bogus front page headline: “More than 250 Dead, Mostly Civilians.” Yet a day later, one of their reporters on the scene reported that 200 Hamas operatives had been killed. Does the NYT double-count civilians as Hamas or are they attempting to convince its readers that Israel is purposely killing innocent people? They are branding Israelis as war criminals knowing full well the UN and its agencies will surely follow up the latest war with “fact finding” probes using the NYT as sort of a witness to Israel’s war criminality. To this rag, Israel is never the target or victim of Palestinian terror, but always the big bully, armed to the teeth, killing civilians purposefully. Never, never do they report Hamas’ placement of artillery, mortars or rocket launching pads in school playgrounds, hospital parking lots nor of terrorists’ offices being in commercial high rises putting innocents in harm’s way. They are blind to the truth. Criminally and knowingly so.

The Times also puts out articles headlining Palestinian suffering hardship and misery under Israeli “rule.” Very rarely do they mention the failed opportunities the Palestinian leadership over the years have had to make a permanent peace with Israel by merely…making peace and coming to grips that Israel is here to stay. By doing so, they could truly live alongside the Jewish State and reap the rewards of Israel’s friendship in the forms of a better life for all the Palestinians. But the NYT, continues to play the agitator, the supporter of Islamic terror and the outspoken, verbal enemy of Israel. Please, do your part and disengage yourself from advertising in or purchasing this poor excuse for a newspaper. Their continued Jew/Israel hating venom depends on your support.
