While the pandemic slowed many plans, and hindered multiple investments, there are still some ambitious residential towers opening up now.
As reported by the NY Post, there are currently several high-rise projects with apartments for sale, which boldly seem to call out, “nothing can’t stop me.” Some of those building launching now are listed herein.
Eastlight, a 34-story building at 501 Third Ave., is aiming to become the tallest building in Kips Bay. With interiors designed by CetraRuddy, the condominium boasts 144 units, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Prices start at $780,000. The building’s 34th floor boasts amenities including a game room, fitness center and a terrace lounge with a dining area. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is conducting the sales.
The building at 212 W. 72nd St.is also undergoing a conversion. Formerly a rental building, CetraRuddy redid the interiors and apartments are now for sale with prices ranging between $1.25 million to $8.3 million. There are 126 apartments, and amenities include a residents’ lounge, children’s playroom, fitness center and a roof deck. Corcoran Sunshine is also managing sales at this building.
In the Upper West Side, 200 Amsterdam has launched sales and the re-opening is slated for the summer. The building has 112 apartments, ranging from one-bedrooms asking above $2.5 million to full-floor penthouses asking $17 million. Building amenities include a 75-foot saltwater pool, infrared sauna, gym, dog spa and music practice room. Sales are being handled by Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing.
One Essex Crossing, at 202 Broome St in the Lower East Side’s has also launched sales earlier this year. There are 83 units, priced between $890,000 to $6.68 million. The building features a gym, playroom and a 9,000-plus-square-foot landscaped “Garden”. The Post reported the property got roughly 600 inquiries before sales were even launched. Corcoran Sunshine is managing sales.
Sales have also been launched for the 36-story condo building known as VU New York. Located at 368 Third Ave. in Kips Bay, the apartments boast views of Manhattan skyline, with prices for studios beginning at $829,000. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is conducting the sales, and closings are slated to begin in the fall.
As per the Post, in Hell’s Kitchen, there are 92 residences for sale by Compass Development Marketing Group. The eight story building at 500 W. 45th St., known as the Bloom on Forty Fifth condo, features a fitness center and an 8,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard.
The condo building at 208 Delancey has also launched sales. There are 85 units, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, and prices start at $630,000. Sales are being managed by Corcoran Sunshine.
