The health tracking components don’t just monitor movement like most passive wearables do, but rather the products incorporate the natural motion of skipping rope to more accurately count jumps, track and recommend workout interval sessions, and calculate calories burned based on a person’s body mass index (BMI). Amazon and other retailers are also selling similar non-branded products many of which come with their own apps, at lower price points.
