Kind of sad that Hillary Hayward Thomas had to call herself “Hilaria Baldwin” to maintain legitimacy. Married to Alec Baldwin with five children, all with Spanish names, she has been pretending to be of Spanish descent giving one interview where she said she grew up in Mallorca, Spain and came to study at NYU when she was 19. In fact she grew up and went to high school in Boston and both her parents are white university professors with her mother being a fourth-generation Bostonian and her father’s family settling in the US before the American revolution. Hillary was called out by Twitter user Leni Briscoe who showed a clip of her pretending to forget the English word cucumber. Her parents and brother did move to Mallorca in 2011 but that doesn’t change her ethnic status. I admire Hillary for being bilingual and raising her kids as such, but claiming Spanish identity to get speaking jobs is reprehensible. Hillary took to Instagram to admit she was a white Bostonian-but it’s too little too late. None of this would have happened if she didn’t post a picture of her picture-perfect body in underwear six weeks after giving birth-garnering thousands of hate-filled comments from her nearly 1 million Instagram followers. She recently posted a picture breastfeeding and features her breasts in nearly every picture. Her stepdaughter Ireland Baldwin came to her defense but her high school friends all agreed there wasn’t a Latina bone in her-hasta la vista Hilaria.
Taylor was “Swiftly” removed from an iconic country music mural in Nashville, Tennessee. She was replaced with Brad Paisley by artist Tim Davis despite widespread disapproval from her fans. While Swift has steered away from country music for the past six years it is most likely her Liberal views that have exiled her. Most country people are conservative so Swift fell out of favor in her home state two years ago when she threw her support behind Democrat Phil Bredesen. I am just sick of hearing Swift complain about Scooter Braun as she garners one accolade after another with her single Evermore spending its second week at Number One. Swift’s net worth is half a billion so I stopped feeling sorry for her a long time ago. She recently gave $13,000 each to two mothers unable to pay rent during the pandemic-a paltry sum that more than returned its value in publicity
On December 24th Related filed an emergency affirmation to collect $5.3 million in back rent from Retailer Hugo Boss, along with $700,000 in monthly rent, according to the Real Deal. This is one of six claims Related has filed against Specialty Shops in Columbus Circle Time Warner Center-after they were shut due to Covid. Other suits have been filed against Cole Haan for $920,000, Michael Kors for $775,000, the Running Specialty Group for $1.05 million, Tumi for $241,000 and Fairway LLC for $291,000. Many of these retailers have not paid rent since March when the pandemic began. The order filed on Christmas Eve was not kindly received by Judge Joel Cohen, who while not yet issuing a decision wrote “provisional relief denied.” Hugo Boss has countersued saying its $692,000 a month rent should be rescinded because it was forced to shut from March to September 9th. Both sides appear to have legitimate claims and the judge will be the ultimate arbiter.
The 42-year-old Katie Holmes has finally found happiness in the arms of 33-year-old celebrity chef Emilio Vitolo. After an unsuccessful marriage to Tom Cruise and a six year relationship with Jamie Foxx that he forced her to hide, she has been seen making out with Vitolo on every block in New York. It was even reported she invited him to spend Christmas with her and 14-year-old Suri-a major step. We wish Katie a lot of happiness with her new beau and something tells me an imminent engagement is on the horizon.
Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot is making waves (Gal means waves) in Hollywood. The 35-year-old is the third highest-paid actress in Hollywood with a salary of $20 million. After being crowned Miss Israel at the age of 18 she entered the Israeli army at the age of 20 for two years as a combat fitness instructor. Gadot recently revealed she has suffered significant injuries to her back, neck and shoulders due to her Wonder Woman stunts-even requiring a back operation. Gadot took jazz and hip hop dance classes for 12 years which she credits for her physical agility. Her grandfather was a Holocaust survivor and her Jewish faith is an important part of her and her childrens lives. She can now be seen in Wonder Woman 1984 which has received mixed reviews. She is one of the hottest actresses around as she continues to play by her own rules.
