One of the most elite and expensive private schools in NYC has taken the extremist route of “critical race theory” as their radicalized staff laid out 8 pages of race-based demands.

Yearly tuition for grades K-12 at the Upper East Side institution The Dalton School is $54,180 a year.

The school first made headlines recently when the staff was refusing to reopen even while most other public and private schools in New York did

Parents signed an angry letter, saying that the $54,000 annual tuition, none of which was being rebated, should buy something more than Zoom classes. The school agreed to reopen but now the “social justice warrior” minded staff are making a list of radical demands, based on the once-obscure “critical race theory”, which has existed since the mind ’80s but was relegated to discussions among, communist professors at staff meetings.

CRT is a theoretical framework in the social sciences that examines society and culture as they relate to categorizations of race, law, and power.  It began as a movement in American law schools in the mid- to late 1980s as a reworking of critical legal theory on race issues, American Philosophy Association, explains.

It is loosely unified by two common themes:

Firstly, that white supremacy exists and exhibits power maintained over time, and, in particular, that the law plays a role in this process. Secondly, that transforming the relationship between law and racial power, as well as achieving racial emancipation and anti-subordination more broadly, are possible.

This cooked up theory based on feeling and opinions, not reality, started being adopted in Law schools, and due to the BLM and George Floyd movement has now been introduced to children at an incredibly young age, instilling the idea that America is racist, Caucasians are all privileged and all inherently racist. This dangerous and damaging ideology is infesting America and many teachers actually support it.

The frothing at the mouth Dalton school staff is holding the school basically at hostage, refusing to reopen unless their critical race theory demands are met.  Some of the warped demands include the hiring of twelve full-time diversity officers, hiring of multiple psychologists with “specialization on the psychological issues affecting ethnic minority populations”, required courses on “Black liberation”, mandatory “Community and Diversity Days” to be held “throughout the year”, required anti-bias training to be conducted every year for all staff and parent volunteers.

Parents are mostly outraged as the NY Post and the battle has only begun. CRT is creeping into not only elite schools, but public schools as well and will continue to be a contentious issue
