In a statement through the Biden-Harris Transition team, Hunter Biden claimed he learned about a DOJ investigation yesterday and that it involves his taxes.
CNN reported astonishingly enough, that the investigation focuses on his business dealings with China and potential money laundering.
The release of the statement from the transition team, followed by the report by CNN has set the political world on fire.
For the month leading up to the election conservative media exploded with stories about Huter Biden’s laptop and dealings with Ukraine and China, while the mainstream media was silent, the original NY Post article on the laptop was censored by Twitter and the establishment press asked barely a question to candidate Biden on the topic, with the exception of a single question at the final presidential debate.
Joe Biden called the story a “Russian plant,” citing a letter by 50 former intelligence officials, including some who spread the “Russia collusion” hoax. There was no follow up, and it is now evident Biden lied to the voting public, as the Hunter Biden story is far larger than Russian disinfo.
The follow-up NY Post article reported that Hunter Biden had launched a joint venture in 2017 with the CEFC China Energy Co. and that he had reserved 10% for the “big guy,” the media deliberately ignored the story.
CNN outright refused to report on the Hunter laptop and business dealings, as Project Veritas uncovered with their expose into CNN’s behind the scenes morning briefings.
It is quite strange to see CNN run a detailed report on the Biden Laptop, a summary of what has been reported on for months and largely ignored by the same network.
CNN even mentions CEFC’s founder and former chairman Ye Jianming in their article. The Biden-Jianming connection has been reported on extensively in October by conservative outlets.
CNN reports:
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the US Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter’s statement reads via the Biden- Harris transition team.
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisers.”

CNN reported: Now that the election is over, the investigation is entering a new phase. Federal prosecutors in Delaware, working with the IRS Criminal Investigation agency and the FBI, are taking overt steps such as issuing subpoenas and seeking interviews, the person with knowledge said.
