President Trump claimed his legal team has “massive proof” of election fraud in Pennsylvania despite efforts to certify the results.
“Specific allegations were made, and we have massive proof, in the Pennsylvania case. Some people just don’t want to see it. They want nothing to do with saving our Country. Sad!!!” Trump tweeted Saturday.
“The number of ballots that our Campaign is challenging in the Pennsylvania case is FAR LARGER than the 81,000 vote margin,” he added. “It’s not even close. Fraud and illegality ARE a big part of the case. Documents being completed. We will appeal!”
Trump’s remarks come after a Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Friday that the state’s election was likely unconstitutional over mail-in ballots, effectively giving legislators the power to choose electors.
Trump had held a briefing Thursday summarizing his legal team’s evidence in several battleground states, adding it would be difficult to concede given the evidence they have.
“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” Trump said. “As to whether or not we can get this apparatus moving quickly – because time isn’t on our side, everything else is on our side, facts are on our side, this was a massive fraud.”
