A “Capitalist” Does Something Constructive
Dear Editor:
While the loudmouth Al Sharpton’s of our world grandstand and lecture us about “racism” but actually do little-to-nothing to make meaningful changes in inner city schools or neighborhoods, it took a capitalist White guy to actually do something constructive. “Jeff Bezos is opening the doors of his first preschool, the Bezos Academy. It’s the first location of a network of tuition-free preschools serving children in underserved communities spearheaded by Bezos’ philanthropic arm, Day One Fund. The “Montessori-inspired” preschool will operate year-round, five days a week, during which “the child will be the customer.”
And how is this rewarded? The Jewish Voice reports, “The rioters also attacked the Whole Foods store, and painted one building with the message “Murder Bezos”, referring to CEO of Amazon and Whole Foods’ parent company’s.”“Die Yuppie” was sprayed on a Compass Real Estate shop.
Instead of rioting and brow beating America, who has bent over backwards, and largely succeeded in ridding itself of institutionalized racism, take a cue from Martin Luther King, “we can’t keep blaming the White man” or to Obama, “a more perfect United States required African Americans taking full responsibility for our own lives … by demanding more from our fathers, spending more time with our children, and teaching them that while they may face challenges and discrimination in their own lives, they must always believe that they can write their own destiny.” Shelby Steele, Sr. Fellow, Hoover Institution, “Our families have fallen to pieces: 75% of all black children are born out of wedlock, without a father… we, as black Americans, have to begin to take our fate back into our own hands…stop crying racism. There’s a little racism out here, always was, and always will be. Why is that an argument to stop, to not move forward, to not be responsible for your own fate?”
Where are the triple digit millions given to BLM going? I don’t hear a word about funding smaller classroom size, creating high quality education for inner city Black youth or school based social workers or loan assistance for start-up, community based businesses. Destroying our cities, in the name of “racism”, perverts what should have been a non-violent call for change. If you must riot, try storming inner city drug houses, instead of throwing rocks at store fronts and assaulting police. Painting BLM murals, and giving into this mob, instead of doing the hard work of creating opportunities for actual empowerment, which is what overcoming “racism” should be about.
Sincerely,

Harvard Scrapes the Bottom of the Barrel
Dear Editor:
President Kennedy’s name is disgraced by Harvard’s appointment of “Serial Liar and Failed Diplomat Erekat to Lecture on Diplomacy.” “Erekat will mentor students and give virtual seminars as a fellow in The Future of Diplomacy Project at the Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Erekat, also the secretary general of the Executive Committee of the PLO, said in a 2014 interview with Al Jazeera that “I will never recognize Israel as a Jewish state.” He has a long history of the most egregious lies, denying Jewish history, and justifying terror attacks. He’s even lied about his own life and his family’s history. Erakat is not at all a “respected global leader.” He is a failure at everything he has ever done.”
The name “Harvard” used to command respect and admiration. Not any more. Our admiration for the Kennedy name will follow suit if this trend continues. Soon, only those who spout anti Zionist, anti Israel, anti Jew lies and smears will be our next “teachers.” Why do American Jewish priorities ignore or mimimize the anti Zionist Jew hate coming at us in favor of other “causes”? Their great grandchildren, who will need to live in fear, will ask them this question but it will be too little, too late.
Sincerely

Perhaps California Should Just Secede from the United States?
Dear Editor:
JNS, “More than a dozen California school boards have adopted resolutions in support of the state’s proposed ethnic-studies model curriculum, despite it coming under fire for containing anti-Semitic and anti-Israel content, and not addressing issues of anti-Semitism or including Jewish Americans.” The proposed curriculum section on ‘Arab American Studies Course Outline’ contains a number of passages such as ‘Direct Action Front for Palestine and Black Lives Matter,’ ‘Call to Boycott, Divest and Sanction Israel.”
“As if that weren’t enough, the curriculum “also includes studying figures such as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), the late Columbia University professor Edward Said, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, the late radio personality Casey Kasem, actress Alia Shawkat and the late White House correspondent Helen Thomas—all of whom are associated with anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rhetoric, and in the case of the congresswomen, a push to enact legislation punishing Israel. Since its inception, Critical Ethnic Studies has falsely and negatively portrayed Zionism as a “racist,” “colonialist,” “system of oppression” that must be vigorously opposed. Anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaigns have been the weapons of choice for the discipline’s scholars, teachers, and students.”
While Camera.org and other groups have risen to protest these bigotry and lies, poisoning the educational system, the fact that it has become so entrenched, so pervasive, so increasingly acceptable, that it has become a daily struggle to fight these anti Israel, anti Jew lies, tells us all we need to know about our future. It is bleak. And worse daily. American Jews need to pool their resources to unite, to “put aside their differences” as did the 600 page Ad groups for BLM, and begin fighting this. If not, our children’s futures will reflect an image of them building their bunkers, their hiding all signs of being a Jew or supporting Israel’s right to exist which is what being a Zionist means, for fear of their lives.
Sincerely

American Airlines: Come Fly with Pandemonium!!!
Dear Editor:
I guess it’s just not stressful enough to fly these days, what with a global pandemic, overbooked flights, lurking terrorism. American Airlines felt a need to up the ante. “Some American Airlines workers are angry at the airline for allowing its flight attendants to wear “Black Lives Matter” pins on their uniforms. One flight attendant worried those who refuse to wear the pin will “be ostracized and labeled as racist.” If this pin is sanctioned, I will wear my NYPD pin supporting the police department.” Another plans to wear a Trump pin if BLM pins are allowed. “When it comes to BLM organization (which is controversial in itself), American Airlines says that’s obviously different,…How is that right? Well, I don’t feel included.”
“The decision to allow BLM pins may be related to an incident on July 29 in which American removed a black woman wearing a BLM shirt and a facemask that read “(Expletive) 12.” The number 12 refers to law enforcement. The woman was asked to cover her mask with its offensive language and according to the airline refused to do so.”
This airline opened the door to flying with Chaos and The Thought Police. What happens if I want to wear an All Lives Matter or Blue Lives Matter pin which may offend some, or how about Zionism is Racism, or F—k BLM, or…you get it?
Sincerely
