CDC Report: Hospitals Counted Over 130K who Had Terminal Illnesses as COVID Deaths

CDC  revealed in their latest numbers that hospitals have been counting patients who died from serious preexisting conditions as COVID-19 deaths.

Some of these serious illnesses included cancer, dementia, and end-stage renal failure. Also counted were people who had influenza, had heart attacks, and pneumonia. over 10,000 of these deceased were already in hospice care.

The numbers also reveal almost 8000 people who had accidental poisoning were counted as covid deaths

Only 6% of all deaths listed COVID as the only cause of death, according to the CVC

From their website:  For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.
