In a shocking new podcast, conman Robert Maxwell was ousted as the person responsible for bringing his daughter Ghislaine Maxwell and convicted sex offender together.
Investigative reporter Julie K. Brown’s podcast has revealed multiple sources backing this claim. Previous reports stating the pair had met after Robert’s death contradicts this new development.
According to Brown’s podcast, the duo initially met in 1988 through Robert, who thought Epstein could emotionally look after his youngest daughter.
Following her dad’s death, Epstein and Ghislaine became very close. It was during those budding years that sources allegedly believe that Ghislaine worked as Epstein’s accomplice, building his clientele of girls as young as 13 (charges she claims are false).
A friend of Ghislaine shared that Ghislaine first met Epstein in London through Robert, but was not initially interested in him — an account reverberated by staffer who told journalist Emily Saul of a conversation she had with Ghislaine in the 1990s, according to Brown’s podcast.
Epstein’s former housekeeper in Palm Beach, Juan Alessi, spoke out in the Daily Mail, citing how much Ghislaine hated Epstein but couldn’t leave – this account was a statement that she verbally expressed to him.
One theory for her inability to leave Epstein was because of his money.
According to the Sun newspaper of the UK, Robert, a media mogul who at one time owned the NY Daily News, had secretly been financially supporting Epstein’s lifestyle, and wouldn’t be the wealthy man he later became, without him.
Robert, owner of the UK newspaper allegedly had stolen hundreds of millions from his own company’s pension funds before he mysteriously passed away in 1991.
His body was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean after perusing around the sea in his yacht The Lady Ghislaine, named after his daughter. When he died, Ghislaine, allegedly moved to NYC and began her spree in trafficking underage girls for prostitution. Epstein pleaded guilty and in 2008 was convicted by Florida state court. 36 girls were identified by federal officials, many of which were sexually abused by Epstein, according to the Miami Herald.
Robert and Epstein’s financial relationship was disclosed last month- this comes after 20 years of a ping pong of conversations model scout Jean-Luc Brunel had with his acquaintances, where he claims that Robert was the reason why Epstein was wealthy, according to the Sun newspaper.
Epstein died in his jail cell on August 10,2019. Ghislaine was arrested by the FBI on July 2, 2020.
