Obscene Appropriation of Revolution

New York Black Lives Matter president Hawk Newsome says “we will burn it down if we don’t get what we want…violence is sometimes necessary in these situations…this country is built upon violence. What was the American Revolution? So for any American to accuse us of being violent is extremely hypocritical.” “Black Lives Matter and Antifa radicals have no intention of slowing down. They’re just going to keep ramping up the violence…”
Newsome’s appropriation of moral equivalence to the American Revolution’s revolt against British rule with BLM’s use of violence, threats and intimidation, even after most Americans literally bent a knee and are still bending over backwards to make amends for “racial injustice” is an obscenity. Newsome and BLM’s leaders openly state their goals of socialist and communist rule, overthrowing all of America’s laws and institutions. And just what is Newsome qualified to do other than threaten once his “revolution” takes over and all your hard earned wealth, all the goodies are re-distributed?
I guarantee he will be like most elites of the French and Bolshevik Revolutions, Mao’s Communist Cultural Revolution, N. Korea’s Kim Jong-un, a gluttenous, obese, cruel despot, sitting pretty in a mansion, eating luxury goods, now denied to the populace who are enslaved in factories owned by the state. The communist leaders want their chimney swept. They just don’t want you to own the soot, said a wise man, Father Brown. These ignorant mob “leaders” only know how to repeat the worst of our history because they failed to learn all about it in the first place, in school.

The website for the event is planning to bring thousands of protesters into Lafayette Square to “lay siege to the White House”- Sarah Carter blog reported. The site also warns that “the possibility of a civil war breaking out sometime next year is no joke.”
Officials from any party, anyone, calling for violent rioting is an assault on our fragile democracy. Calling for a peaceful protest is one thing. Calling for your will to be shoved down the opposition’s throats with threats, intimidation, rioting, burning cities, looting, silencing all who disagree, assaulting police is…an assault on all of us who value democracy. We need to stand up to it now. Before the totalitarian mob storms all of us.

No More Fake Apologies

“This dental student’s posts present an obsession with conveying hatred for Jews, relaying anti-Semitic tropes and posturing about a desire to harm Jews physically,” warned a leading watchdog. Pro-Israel advocacy group StandWithUs sent a letter last week to Tufts University’s president and the dean of its dental school, Anthony Monaco and Nadeem Karimbux, warning that dental student Adam Elayan’s tweets “should raise immediate concern, an apparent obsession with conveying hatred for Jews, relaying anti-Semitic tropes about Jews and posturing about a desire to harm Jews physically, hatred of Zionism, which is a core part of Jewish identity…”Every certain trait I hate about people stems from the average personality of Zionists”; “I do not refer to Zionists as human beings. They are of primitive standards, comparable to the Neanderthal. They steal your whole country…I will f***in cremate you Jewish b**ch.”
Those who demonize Jews, Zionists and Israel are driven by hatred that runs deep. Do not accept a fake apology from this student, or from anyone at Tuft’s who has posted this kind of virulent Jew hate. We need to send a clear and strong message that this will not be tolerated or excused. Period. No, you do not get a slap on the wrist. You get fired or expelled. Zero tolerance. One Dr. Mengele in the death camps should be enough for all of us for all eternity.

Where’s the Outrage When…

“German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday marked the 70th anniversary of the Central Council of Jews in Germany by declaring: “Many Jews do not feel safe, do not feel respected in our country. This is one part of today’s reality and it is one that causes me grave concern,” Deutsche Welle reported. In a keynote address to the Council, Merkel Merkel said it is a shame that anti-Semitism “never disappeared” from Germany. In fact, she stated, today this scourge is “more visible and without restriction.” She pointed out the increase in conspiracy theories and hate speech targeting Jews on social media in Germany and received applause when she insisted that this is “something we must never accept in silence.” She cited last Yom Kippur’s lethal attack on a synagogue in the city of Halle as an example of “how quickly words can become deeds.”
I do not hear progressive American Jewish outrage, nor do I see full page ads, nor do I hear of collective outrage. Yet I hear all about progressive Jewish support for other groups, for every other cause imaginable. How many more synagogues need to be attacked before we see a full page ad about the growing global antisemitism and its acceptance now as the norm? If Jews are no longer safe in Germany, where are we safe?
