As we race closer to the election, President Trump has been holding frequent press appearances, addressing the hot topics of the day, while former VP Joe Biden, is starting to make appearances as well.
On Monday President Trump mainly addressed the violence that transpired last week in Kenosha, Wisconsin and Portland
President Trump on Monday was asked about Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who shot and killed two men and wounded a third in self defense during the Kenosha riots last week.
Trump explained the suspect most likely acted in self defense. Here is the clip:
CNN’s Katilin Collins asked the president if he will condemn his “violent supporters” in Portland. She sites a story that Trump supporters shot paint balls at ANTIFA insurrectionists. From hours of social media footage from Portland, show most Trump supporters just driving pick up trucks with American flags thru Portland, in a “caravan” like display. ANTIFA on the ground tried to block drivers and attack Trump supporters. Trump’s response is classic, here is the clip:
Meanwhile Joe Biden ,who has avoided most campaigning since the COVID-19 pandemic , made an appearance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Joe Biden came out positioning himself as a “law and order candidate” much like Trump. In the most humorous part of the event, Biden said: ” “Ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters? Really?” Here is the clip:
Continuing with the theme of blaming the street violence on Trump , Biden promises a safe America with President Biden
At one point Biden spoke incoherent gibberish about the pandemic. Biden said ” Covid has taken this year, just since the outbreak, has taken more than 100 year, look, here’s, the lives, it’s just, when you think about it.”
As of press, nobody can figure out what he meant, and Biden took no questions from the press after this campaign stop. Biden promised reporters upon arriving off his flight, that he would address reporters during the event. He lied.
Social media reported that only around 30 people showed up to greet the former VP when he arrived for his “big event”
