Hezbollah’s Fingerprints of Terror in Beirut Blast

The shambles that was Lebanon was further crumbled into dust by last Tuesday’s massive explosion in that nation’s poor punching bag excuse for a  capital, Beirut. While nearly 200 bodies and thousands of his wounded citizens were being hauled away like last week’s trash, the nation’s president, Michel Aoun, surprised no one by claiming that the explosion of nearly 2,700 tons..tons that is, of explosive grade ammonium nitrate, might have been caused by a rocket or a bomb. Of course, look no further than Israel being named the “possible” villain by Left Wingers and supporters of Hezbollah, the most likely culprit. This notorious Islamic terrorist group holds sway over Lebanon, once the pearl of the Mediterranean.

Bomb grade ammonium nitrate has been  been used by Hezbollah in its terror operations before. It’s their favorite. It’s cheap, readily available and easy to transport.  The group’s 1983 attack on the U.S. Marine barracks, coincidentally in Beirut, and their 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, both Hezbollah operations, had this chemical compound as the explosive force that killed and mutilated hundreds. All they needed were trucks to carry death to their victims. They are ruthless killers, pawns of Iran and life to them is meaningless. Terror is their game and they play it often. In the case of the most recent Beirut disaster, the destruction of this city still further weakens the country making it easier for them to subjugate its citizens with fear of further horrors if they rise up.

In fact, Mr. Aoun, a Maronite Christian, has become the puppet leader of the country taking his marching orders from the Islamist Hezbollah who in turn is controlled, financed, armed and prodded by Iran. Take a look at a map of the Middle East and you’ll note that Syria, now being overrun by Iran, is Lebanon’s next door neighbor to the East. The plans of the Mullahs is to have control of both countries that border one another. The threat to Israel by Iran’s gobbling up both lands is obvious and frightening.

We’re concerned that any “investigations” into the explosion will be carried out by individuals or groups not really interested in the cause but to indict an innocent victim, Israel, as the vicious culprit. The United Nations, France (with a long time involvement in Lebanon), or even some American politicians such as Israel/Jew haters such as Congresswomen Ilahn Omar and Rashida Tlaib might very well point the finger and allude to the Jewish State as being responsible for this horror. Let’s hope against hope that our fears are not realized. But when you deal with terrorists and their supporters, anything can happen. And it usually does.
