Family Drive-In Movie and Dinner

Date: Wednesdays and Thursdays through August 27, 2020

Time: Movie begins at 8:30 p.m.

Cost: $60/car

desaki and the Sherman Theater have teamed up to bring you a summer drive-in movie series! Enjoy dinner and a movie from the comfort of your car; a $30 dinner voucher is included in admission. Meals are brought out to your vehicle to enjoy during the film. Part of the proceeds benefit local non-profits. Check out the video below for a sneak peak of what to expect!

Take a two-hour round-trip train ride with a sweet treat stop. Board the train for a scenic ride from Honesdale to Hawley. In Hawley, you’ll break to stretch your legs and eat an ice cream sundae. Date: Fridays, July 31 through September 4, 2020

Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Cost: $25/adult (ages 13+); $15/junior (ages 3-12); free for children 2 and under (lap seat)

Experience live music from your boat on Lake Wallenpaupack! On weekends throughout the summer, you can get some fresh air and sun on the Big Lake. Grab takeout food and adult beverages from The Dock before setting sail. Be sure to check with Silver Birches for an update since this event is weather dependent.

Moonlight Rafting

Cost: $99.99/person

Follow the setting sun on a nighttime adventure like no other. Explore the Lehigh River on an afterhours whitewater rafting trip! Let the moonlight, stars, fireflies and glowsticks light your path while travelling eight miles with an on-raft guide. When you return to base, warm up by the bonfire with some marshmallows and a glass of wine. Private trips for groups of 10 or more can be accommodated during the week.
