Those with special needs are always singing in the rain, they endure tough times constantly. They breakthrough the darkness, pain and struggles to spread happiness and sunshine to the world.
But NOW these precious children need us more than ever!

At The Center, we love, support and cherish every family with special needs. The Center is there for the children offering respite, case management and a home away from home so the children can enjoy stimulating activities and nurturing care while their parents tend to the rest of their myriad of responsibilities. During these trying times The Center didn’t stop, it was the first time in the history of Center that the hallways were quiet, an eerie silence, our hearts were aching, our hands were tied, but we didn’t stop. They are our children we need to do something to ease their challenges, and we did!
The Center sent weekly activity packages, dinners, drive by entertainment, and any kind of support possible! As the restrictions eased our loving and talented staff were set up with to help over 300 children, providing thousands of hours of respite, showing the children with love and genuine happiness! They went out to parks, on walks, finally giving the parents time to gather some physical and emotional strength to continue on!
The Center Group Homes were in the same situation as every other home – quarantine !!! Dedicated staff moved in to the homes for days and weeks on end entertaining and caring for the children like their own. The patience and love they have for the children under this situation is mind boggling, totally jaw dropping!
