Violent clashes erupted on a bridge between China’s virus-stricken Hubei province and neighboring Jiangxi province, days after authorities relaxed an epidemic lock-down, The Globe and Mail reported.
The citizens trying to cross a bridge to the neighboring province were met from police.
Hubei this week lifted its lockdown of areas of the province outside Wuhan, which is the origin of the coronavirus & the capital of Hubei
People outside of Hubei, are suspicious of individuals from the province
Canada’s Globe & Mail report: deep distrust has taken root across China toward people from Hubei, fueled by fear of COVID-19, which spread widely in the province, as well as skepticism of official reassurances that the epidemic has been successfully suppressed. People from Hubei have been refused entry to hotels and their homes, even if they were not in Hubei during the past two months. On social media, people have reported being barred from entering Beijing merely because their hometown is in Hubei.

Massive deliveries of urns in Wuhan have raised fresh skepticism of China’s coronavirus reporting, as families in the central Chinese city began picking up the cremated ashes of those who have died from the virus this week, photos began circulating on social media and local media outlets showing vast numbers of urns at Wuhan funeral homes.
