President Trump arrived at NASCAR’s Daytona 500 on Sunday in his super cool limousine known as “The Beast.”
Trump was named grand marshall of this year’s race and rolled up to the famous race track in the vehicle that has a price tag of $1.5 million. The limo seats seven people comfortably and was unveiled in 2018. According to a report in the New York Post, “The Beast” is a 20,000-pound fortified Cadillac CT6 stretch sedan, comes fully loaded with bags of the president’s blood type, as well as having features to ward off just about every kind of terror attack or assassination attempt.
NBC previously reported that it can spew out a smokescreen, fire tear gas and leave an oil slick to thwart a car chase, as was reported by the Post. There’s also at least 8-inch-thick walls and 5-inch, multi-layer windows that make the doors as heavy as those on a Boeing 757 jet, according to the Post report.
When President Trump met North Korean leader Kim Jung Un for the first time, Kim was taken with “The Beast” and Trump allowed him to climb in and check it out for himself. Kim appeared to be exceptionally impressed with the tricked out limousine.
