NJ Cop Offered Promotion in Exchange For Sex With Daughter & Wife

A police chief allegedly promised a New Jersey cop a promotion in exchange for sex with his wife or his 13 year old underage daughter, a shocking complaint reported by NJ.com revealed.

The police officer from Vineland, New Jersey filed a formal complaint against his boss, Chief Rudy Beu.

Beu reportedly told the unnamed officer he would get a promotion in 2017 if he arraigned sex with his wife or daughter – who was under 13-years-old at the time. The officer told NJ.com that Beu first gave his proposal to the him at a bar, saying he would get a raise of he let Beu go home with his wife The New York Post reported he was asking what assets she had as he pointed up and down her body.

The officer, whose name is being withheld by media due to his fear of retaliation, reported the allegations to solicitor Richard Tonetta in September 2017, five months after the first incident, according to emails obtained by NJ Advance Media.

Tonetta said a Conscientious Employee Protection Act investigator was assigned to look into the complaints, however the officer said nothing came of it.

Chief Beu claims this is simply an act of retaliation by his accuser

Although I am not at liberty to make any specific comments, I can tell you that there are two sides to every story,” Beu said. “This is a retaliatory action taken against myself and certain command staff members for reasons I cannot discuss at this time.”, Beu told NJ Advance media.

The allegations don’t end with the officer’s wife. Beu also referred to sex with the officer’s daughter, who was under 13, according to the report and the NY Post.

“As I go out the door, he says ‘How about your daughter?’ and he starts laughing,” the officer claimed, saying his boss followed him outside and yelled at his children in his parked truck that their dad was getting a promotion.

The officer said nothing has been done by the city or department in the two years since he filed his complaint. The officer went to his union, Vineland PBA Local 266, and filed a formal complaint with the city solicitor, The Post reported

“[The comments] were absolutely unprofessional and if it happened the way officer said it happened, it is illegal,” union president Craig Scarpa told NJ.com

Vineland PBA Local 266 President Craig Scarpa believes the officer handled the situation the right way by going to the city about the alleged incident. Scarpa also said the officer’s accusations are credible, and that the comments were out of line, NJ.com reported
