As fall colors begin to debut in the Pocono Mountains, PoconoMountains.com serves as a guide visitors can use to enjoy all the region has to offer with our 25 ways to view fall foliage offering information on annual festivals, events, activities, special fall offers and our popular fall foliage forecast.

“Generally, the leaves tend to change colors about the same time, but with three color regions within the Pocono Mountains, the foliage peaks at different times throughout the area,” said Carl Wilgus, president/CEO of the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB). “Our weekly fall foliage forecast provides specific information on these color regions so visitors will know exactly where and when they can view the peak foliage.”

Our fall foliage forecast (Live link: PoconoMountains.com/fallfoliageforecast) is put together by partnering with local foresters in the three color regions, including the percentage of leaves on trees, percentage of full color, projected dates for peak color and a detailed description of which trees are changing colors throughout the season. Updated weekly every Thursday into early November, the report is on the Pocono Mountains’ website, promoted on social media and recorded on the Fall Foliage hotline, 570.421.5565. Our live camera network on PoconoMountains.com/live-cameras shows real-time views of the changing landscape to help visitors plan their next trip to the Pocono Mountains.
